Many thanks to Eurosport for showing the IMG/BSI tv coverage. Not sure I could stomach the commentary team for every GP although it was good for a change - they did seem to just carry on talking whether there was anything useful to say or not!!! Still its back to Nigel and Kelvin/Jan for the remaining GPs

You seem to be missing the point. Its about audience figures for live speedway (and live sport in general)on different nights. Sky have enough live sport for a Saturday evening. However Mondays, when audiences are much higher for EL meetings, are a very different matter. That said, the BSPA and Sky still need to work together to get a better EL package for that audience.

Not to worry A ORLOV, Poole won't have ridden together either - in fact in some cases won't have ridden at all competitively, so should even things up. Chris and Darcy will probably still have jet-lag so I reckon you will have the definite edge on Thursday and maybe Friday too!!

Forgive my ignorance, but what is SportKlub and where do I find it?

I see on the BSPA website the first of the season's 'weekly updates' gives a list of all the teams 'that clubs have issued to the BSPA Press Office' - (ie not 'ratified' or 'confirmed')!!! The (very specific) wording of this would seem to indicate that various 'sagas' may still have some way to run............!?

I remember the late Cyril Hart, who used to do the Poole match reports and for a while was also the Poole PRO. He used to sit behind us in the grandstand and clarified a lot of the rules when we first started going in the mid-eighties!

From comments made by referee Mick Posselwhite at the Poole fans forum, it would seem that all referees are going to warn riders about returning to the pits after a restart is called!!!

Can't see any full stops - just a couple of 'iffy' question marks at the end of sentences that aren't questions!!

Its only a recently introduced new 'technicality'!! Others have come up against the same technicality and been issued their visas. Of course, timing could still be an issue?!
