Very fair outcome I feel. In addition I do hope that the BV promotion also make some sort of offer to those Poole fans that travelled - maybe a negotiated discount at the local Premier Inn and discounted admission (for everyone)?????

So still nothing official from yesterday's SCB meeting and nothing more, official or unofficial, from the Manchester Evening News!! The PR experts (spin doctors) must be working overtime to get this announcement into some believable format!!!!!!

So, Monday morning and still nothing official on the SCB, BSPA , BV or Poole websites. The 'story' in the MEN hasn't been picked up in the Bournemouth Echo!! So the question now is 'Who is Aaron Flanagan?' and does he have any connection with BV?

The only police involvement will be from the Environmental or H&S Police!!!!!

Where's the 'Official Statement' from the SCB exactly????!!! I've seen the article, which even I could have written had I been a journo in Manchester!!!!!! I needn't have even been in Manchester - I could have emailed it through if I'd been stuck at an airport overseas, maybe!!!!

Seems like an attempt by BV to use their local paper to influence any potential decision and to curry favour with their fans. Totally wrong imo. NB I'm not one of the Poole fans that would support Poole being awarded the 4 points - but there has to be some proper disciplinary action!!

Pointless topic as there won't be an 'Elite League Speedway' thread in 2014!!!!

Lets not forget that Sky's viewing figures are/were reportedly much better for midweek domestic speedway than Saturday GPs - however surprising that might seem!! This week I would think Sky have more than enough footie, with play-offs etc - to need a speedway meeting. That's not to say that they will not be interested in continuing next year - but as someone has already said, at a cheaper contract price, which will probably mean more PL meetings as there won't be that many EL clubs if any at all!!

Not true actually - the investigation is by the SCB (not the BSPA) into the circumstances of the cancellation/postponement!

Philip, I think we should go back to having all riders graded rather than their individual averages, as this might give a bit more flexibility and avoid the need for any average manipulation.
