Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
SteveLyric2 replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Any news on the 'For Sale' situation? factual or rumour..........? -
Replaced by Kerr at Leicester for Thursday and beyond.
-
Definitely - if they are a team mate! Sometimes - if they make a valid point!
-
We're OK for next season thanks. It's 2025 onwards where there may be a problem, but dont worry I'm sure the legal guys are already on the case!!
-
Oh gawd, you haven't been talking with Lewy have you?!

Poole v Birmingham 30/8/23 Championship

Richard reports nothing broken, just some ligament damage and a badly swollen ankle. Resting up. He's included in the Poole 1-7 (if fit). Brummies have Josh Pickering guesting for Morris. This will be Kyle Newman's last outing at 2 and Anders at 6 before they swap for September -
Well he didn't did he?!
-
Whoever does the Plymouth website will probably do the preview by tomorrow morning....!
-
I merely asked after his team mate! I would have made the same comment whichever rider found himself off gate 4 and in the fence through no fault of their own!
-
Knocking someone off, accidentally, out of control or otherwise, is not racing - its carnage!

I've said before I don't think finishing top this season is as important as other seasons. Poole are capable of beating any of the other 5 teams on aggreagte - yes even Oxford as we won't lose there by as many as before! -
...Does he only have one bike then, as he's missing from today's fixtures too?

Poole v Birmingham 30/8/23 Championship
SteveLyric2 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
No, Poole v Brummies is the only meeting on Wednesday. A bit dodgy using anyone from Oxford or Glasgow whilst top spot is still up for grabs, especially as some clubs feel its imperative they finish top?! My choice would be Pickering as it would be in his (Edinburgh's) interest for Brummies to be well beaten!! -
So why did he pull out of the CLRC after one 'ride'? Bike, back or mental health?
-
The 'winner' didn't show much respect to his team mate, did he?

He's not riding in the evening meeting either!! If Wednesday is in doubt then I guess the guest would be Danny (assuming recovered from the Wright missile), Rory or Josh?! -
Track was great. Riders gave us a good show. Ref was a crock!
-
Track covers were on.

At least Craig Cook is back riding after his absence. 0,0,0, for Leicester tonight.
