Are they planning restrictions based on Speedway and Greyhounds? If so then once the dogs go, surely it would make sense for Wolves to move into PB at least in the short term.
-
Not forgetting the 8 day rule!

I thought Monmore was due to close with greyhounds joining the horses at Wolves race track?

Fixed racenights are only to give Premiership fixtures priority with any usage of doubling up riders. -

Does UK speedway need a new televised product?

I believe that will come with the ever-improving streaming by BSN and others. A one hour weekly highlights programme provided ideally for a Sports TV channel, with all production costs taken away from the TV company, having a regular time slot but also repeated several times during the week. Those fans who still want to see the live broadcasts and pay their £12 (or maybe a little more to cover BSN's extra costs?) can do so, and I bet would also watch the highlights package. -

Near perfect conditions for tonight.. Pre-meeting presentations also being made to Lawson and Worrall by the R.E.F.! BEN Fund collection during the interval. -
Signing Chris Holder was an easy option for Sheffield as he's been there with his brother several times this season. Remember he is returning after some horrendous injuries which may partially explain his low scores in Poland. For Sheffield a few low scores will be better than 0,0,0.

If Edinburgh make the playoffs and Cook remains unavailable then guests would have to come from the bottom 3 teams.

Quick question. How much do you think a club would have to charge for admission to say a GB v Poland test match? I ask because a few years ago there was a proposal for a 'European League' involving teams from the top countries. One of the reasons it did not progress was down to cost of paying Polish riders! -

Are Eurosport unhappy with theirBritish League coverage and audience? They already have the SGP format, why would a similar British,Individual tournament fare better and generate more viewers and a different audience? Comparisons with Ice Hockey could be irrelevant as far as TV audiences are concerned, aside from the fact that you're comparing an indoor sport with an outdoor one and does ice hockey get any better media coverage than speedway in the general populas?
