  1. Of course you can have that view Gav - its the repetition 20 times over that gets up people's noses!!
  2. Latest Update: Mark Loram's Legends v Tony Rickardsson's Raiders - with Holder, Ward, Lindgren, Harris, Vaculik, Pedersen, Proctor, Cook, Worrall and others . Plus 'A Farewell to Britain's Finest' featuring guest appearances by Joe Screen, Sean Wilson, Andy Smith, Marvyn Cox, Dean Barker, Andrew Silver, Neil Middleditch, Alun Rossiter, Brian Larner and more tba.
  3. I only said 'Shame for Risager!!!'. With this 'Pre-Season Cup' meeting now only on the Saturday it might dissuade some KL supporters from attending Risager's meeting depending where NKI and Bjerre decide (or are forced) to ride!!?
  4. Chris Holder was in the Poole pits in a wheelchair and latterly crutches!
  5. Theres an excellent summary of the latest visa situation in the SS this week! Also explains why each case may be different!!
  6. None at all! So will it be a Kings Lynn Select/Guest team then?
  7. Any new fans coming to the early meetings won't know any difference. They'll pays their money and get their 15 heats!! No problems.
  8. Away Challenge v Lakeside on 28th March now cancelled - due to Darcy Ward's - "The most entertaining rider in the world" -(Jon Cook) unavailability!!
  9. If you read the full article in SS, it explains that Plymouth have to first apply for and get a 'Visa Sponsor Licence' before they can request/support a Tier 5 Visa application for Davies! That's why its different to the Doyle case. Not sure how the other riders/clubs are affected. The other thing is that Tier 5 visas are temporary and might only be a solution for the current problems and will not be issued again in future years. All riders/clubs are advised to apply for Tier 2 to run from/to March 1st each year
  10. Shown up with that one Gav..............!!!
  11. He may not be able to appear for Oz in the UK!? Awaiting clarification!! No guest bookings, no individual meetings - just Leicester EL meetings!!
  12. Strange there's still nothing about this on the Stars website?!
  13. When it became apparent that a Tier 5 visa would only realistically allow Doyley to race in one or other (not both) of the EL and PL, - and Doyley chose EL - Leicester would have become the more proactive promotion in any negotiations with UKBA. Simples.
  14. Quite right too! I'm sure when Scott retires from racing and he gets the necessary approval from BSPA for a Farewell meeting (as Havvy did) and one of his former tracks offers to host it, then it will be a well-supported meeting. You never know he might even get Eurosport to televise it live!!
  15. Loram and Rickardsson announced as Team Managers for Havvy's Farewell,( and we may even see them on track!!) with more big names still to come. Every British rider that has ridden with Havvy is to be invited.
  16. But that's exactly why there has been such an outcry from fans - especially on Twitter and Facebook - because days off, accommodation etc have been booked!! (ps. with the weather how it is at the moment, I wonder if Havvy's potential rain-off date will be the 23rd?!)
  17. I know that Nick but many of the Polish clubs have pre-season 'get-togethers/training sessions' or even a pre-season Cup Tournament at Kings Lynn??!
  18. Oh well it won't affect too many people then!!! Is there much on in Poland - or involving Polish teams - that day?
