  1. Not sure if I've missed this on another thread, but the new(ish) SkyTickets website is now offering price reductions on some upcoming meetings - mainly Swindon home meetings at £15!!
  2. With a much fuller fixture list this season - I can't see a spare date that would suit!!!! (plus I've had my race sponsorship returned!!!) That's not to say it won't ever happen - especially if/when he rides in UK again - after all he has been granted it by BSPA!!
  3. Isn't it his birthday tomorrow?? With the way Wolbert and Dilger performed in the Euro Pairs last Friday, Lambert could well be partnering Smolinski in the next 2 rounds??!!
  4. Well he is likely to be in the Poole pits more often than certain other riders in the current 1-7 - so maybe there will be an argument to give him a medal?! Assuming there are medals to be given out?! Hope you have a speedy recovery CR. At least you didn't have to attend last night's 'Blunsdon Experience'!! Are you on strong medication?
  5. After heat 10!! just saying. SCB Rule 15.11 15.11 After Heat 10 in an official Team fixture, only the Team that is losing may request a track inspection, or seek abandonment of the Meeting.
  6. Always a pleasure to add to your education SB - in the best interest of European speedway, you understand!!!!
  7. I see Barker is already blaming the lack of track prep 'to suit the home riders' - too slick apparently?! I thought most riders these days know that most tracks will be prepared 'slick' as that suits the current bikes!!? Fans need to recognise that too - or perhaps that's why attendances might dwindle even more? Changes need to be made sport-wide to make bikes/silencers and riders etc more suited to grippier tracks imo.
  8. His signature on a 2014 BSPA contract is sufficient - hopefully!!
  9. Sorry, missed that one R&R. Good to see (Polish) League meetings take precedence!!
  10. Seems as though One Sport's official mouthpiece are reporting today that they are accepting that Ward will not be at Landshut for round 2, as official British EL/PL fixtures take precedence over their Pairs meeting!! Will also apply to Woodward and possibly Wolbert. Aussies will still be able to choose from Doyle, Batchelor and/or Watt to partner Holder. Ward to be back for 23rd May!!!
  11. Its not being 'allowed' in the EL!! Its about the British representatives in the European Cup (ie this year Poole) having a strong(ish) competitive team against the Poles, Swedes and Danes!!!
  12. It'll be interesting if Ward races in the next round?! Money or loyalty to his British club contract? Lets see.........!!
  13. The important thing is that the promoters will have the list!!!
  14. You're not Matt Ford in disguise are you??
  15. Good to see some clubs are still attracting younger fans, who can string a decent sentence together!!
  16. The general rule for a tier 5 visa gives permission for an additional maximum of 20 hours riding for a 'non-sponsoring club' as long as its at a similar (not lower) standard!!
  17. No GPs on TV in Germany or Russia???? This could develop into something far more serious!!! Reprisals could be devastating!!
