  1. As for BSN I've had the season pass at early bird price and generally enjoyed the coverage. If I was to be overly picky -as many are with Eurosport - I would prefer some different ' booth presenters' who are less 'shouty'! (Sometimes you just get the urge to shove a pie in their mouth!!)
  2. Josh and Paco did you proud at Wimborne Road. Surely they will do similar at home, with Kye and Lasse also doing better?!
  3. I'm a blue tooth brush! (for those of a certain age)
  4. I've amended my earlier post to 'in the modern era' at the same time including from 1987 under Stewkesbury and Ansell. Ps. Not sure why stating a fact is deemed to be arrogant, especially as a Poole fan on a Poole topic.? But hey ho.
  5. I was quoting Matt Ford ( at yesterday's Brandon Stadium inquiry) under his tenure since 1999 and previously under Stewkesbury and Ansell from 1987.
  6. So thats that til 8/9th Nov?!! Ps I don't know how Osborne professes to know exactly the attendance figures at Poole? It's not his stadium staff that operate the turnstiles/entrances, it's MF's staff!!
  7. In the modern era always within budget and always financially stable (except 2019!)
  8. And his points about 'stadium costs' and going on about air fences??? Air fences for Speedway are paid for by Speedway promoters/sponsorship - sweet FA to do with a stadium. I really do hope that SCS legal chap (Hargreaves?) takes him to task on loads of his points!
  9. Clarke Osbornes assertion that greyhounds would add to a stadiums viability begs the question as to why they withdrew it at Poole? GIs decision, nobody else's!
  10. Can't see Matt Ford getting his chance today unless the inspector extends the proceedings past the usual 5pm!? (And that'll mean him missing tonight's meeting!!)
  11. Surely any club would want a bit more time to promote the final than less than one day?!
  12. Nothing snidey about not being able to run your next home meeting on your next scheduled race day! I know it's not a situation that Plymouth are used to at this stage of a season, but thanks for your comment.
  13. Yes but you must see how it might appear to the uninitiated?!
  14. I have. What have I misunderstood? Someone has clearly intervened as the cut-off was October 1st!
  15. NB. Glasgow v Oxford now scheduled for next Tuesday 3rd October (no doubt following intervention by the League Sponsors!) so unlikely that Poole will have a home meeting next Wednesday?!!
  16. Maybe a phone call to the reporter Paul Grinnell would be a better way?
  17. Hardly any rain today and Storm Agnes now looks to be heading more westwards with only gale force winds suggested in the Poole area.
  18. Edinburgh and Scunny both already riding Friday. I guess if Friday is a real option then Rory Schlein would be the only reasonable guest.
  19. I would imagine Scott overnighted in Manchester so he would have a shorter journey to Scotland?
  20. The chap quoted Coventry attendances from the C.Horton letter. I think he said approx 1700 for speedway and 3500 for Stox, increased for big individual meetings.
