  1. But I thought Holder was supposed to be lowering his average so he can be brought back later on??!!!!!
  2. And therein is the potential questionmark - Do the British EL meetings count as 'the big occasions' for your hero?!
  3. Plus a good friend in the NHS who can issue prescriptions and sick notes!!
  4. Whenever there is talk of a 'dodgy' call-off, why is it always BV and/or Lakeside involved??!! (ps its a joke!!!)
  5. Its not possible if the team total with MJJ is now over 32 points for the 1-5!!!!
  6. I bet there's a long queue of riders keen to ride for an EL Saturday track!!!??
  7. As it says in the Star, the promoters are not waiting til the AGM, they are having their first meeting on Tuesday 10th June - next week!! ...and the following week they are meeting in either the local Co-op or possibly Tesco Express!!!!
  8. Never a truer word.........!! I'm sure Plymouth will be surprised?!!!!!!!
  9. Apparantly MJJ only agreed to the signing on the basis that he wouldn't have to race on the same track as Fisher!!! In a cruel twist of fate, Fisher rumoured to be replacing Josh G at Poole for a month, but on hearing this many Poole fans walked out last night after heat 3 in protest!!!
  10. Matt has confirmed he MAY look to replace Josh for a month - depending on the post-op news!! With our next meeting not until June 18th, there is plenty of time to decide (and I don't particularly want Dennis Andersson )
  11. Rain-off tickets from last night's abandoned meeting can be used at any remaining Poole 2014 EL home fixture for the admission price of £4 for Adults/£3 concessions/Children-Free!!
  12. Josh G misses the GP Qualifier on Saturday. MA nominate Ty Proctor to replace him.
  13. Still no torrential rain around at the moment - currently blue skies and sunshine with a brisk breeze. Could change quickly though?!
  14. Magic rode in Poland Sunday (10+3) and is due to ride for Poole tonight - rain permitting. Josh G really wants to ride Saturday but will take the specialist's advice this morning. Since the operation, he has been treating his face/eye with daily ice packs to reduce the swelling, but the biggest issue is likely to be whether he can get his helmet on!!!!!?
  15. Looking at the YouTube clip, It looks as though the air fence is still not secured at the base as it lifted alarmingly again!!
  16. Not the torrential rain that was forecast at the moment!! Fingers crossed. More importantly Josh G sees the specialist this morning after his facial op at the weekend. He really wants to ride in the GP Qualifier on Saturday but will take the specialist's advice. Meanwhile MF is considering a temporary replacement depending on what the specialist advises as to the length of Josh's absence.
  17. Yes very poor forecast for rain -light and heavy showers - all day and then clearing for the evening!! I guess it will depend on when the rain actually stops and how good the drainage is................!?
  18. Seems as though the Brummies team is as pumped as the air fence will need to be this evening!!
  19. His EL form must be down to his bikes then, plus the wide open spaces of most Polish tracks mean that other riders find it easier to avoid him!!!! Although I note in his Polish meeting there were only 3 finishers in a couple of his races!!
  20. I think you'll find Gav that whilst DW is carrying the knee injury, his game plan for the GPs is to get as many early points on the board as possible. If he makes a semifinal or even a final and manages to avoid any major 'clashes' (ie keeping well out the way of Pedersen and Smolinski!) then job done. Not bad for a rider that can't gate, but still sits in 3rd place in the GP standings!!
