Article in the local paper yesterday suggested that if there was no reaction (swelling, infection etc) to having the stitches removed on Monday, then Josh could be fit to resume on Friday at Coventry. He is fit and champing at the bit to ride but it is mainly down to whether he can get his racing helmet on and off comfortably!!

With the Poole side, as I've already stated Magic has this fixture in his calendar and he races in the later (evening) GP Qualifier on Saturday in Gorican. Pawlicki and Milik are both in the earlier (afternoon) Qualifier in Poland. Practice for either meeting is NOT compulsory, so I guess it just depends on flights and pressure from the Polish and Czech authorities. For the Bees Hans is in the Gorican meeting and Bomber in the Polish one, so I guess its all up in the air?!

Switched on late and didn't realise they were showing an animated Fantasy Speedway meeting?! I knew something was wrong 'cos Ricky Kling won heat 2!!!!!!!

Its a big shame for Kerr especially, but injuries are an occupational hazard. All clubs have suffered with them to a greater or lesser degree. Do I detect a whiff of panic amongst Stars fans??
