Not sure about some of the 'inserts' referred to above, but when its happened at Poole, the 'insert' as usually a 4-page (ie an A4 double sided) race card with race sponsors still included and updated info on the reverse eg Meeting sponsor profile; rider changes etc!! As has been said, promoters cannot afford to lose money on programmes/advertising especially if, like last year, there were many rain-offs.

I've never been a past supporter of Tai's - mainly down to his perceived past attitude/personality - but last night the kid was simply awesome and deserved all the plaudits he is getting. As far as his lack of sponsorship, that may also have something to do with his past 'reputation', which he needs to continue to work on!! Maybe an approach to Red Bull is required as they seem to have a better knack of choosing riders that win GPs this year, than say Monster for example.

Well I hope all concerned in Poland (generally) and Torun (in particular) were pleased with that?! A new competition run by a Polish wannabe Promotion company, at Torun, Poland; won by the Polish pair of Torun track specialists, with the added bonus of Chris Holder (the Torun Captain) being the individual top scorer. There didn't seem to be any desire - other than to pick up their wage packet - as there was nothing of worth in the result!

They don't need you when they have Russell Lanning's regular Saturday column in the Sun, plus the occasional midweek article!! One of the (many) issues is not getting them to attend once but to keep them attending regularly, in duff stadia, on poor tracks with too much processional racing and at a price they cannot afford!!
