The PL promoters have been doing that for years - and there are more of them to outvote any EL proposals for the benefit of the sport overall - or just to save the EL in any form!! I believe the EL (6 to 8 teams only) should separate from the BSPA and be run by someone like BSI or similar, with a major sponsor such as Monster or Red Bull and TV coverage guaranteed, to get the top riders back. The BSPA should then be purely for PL/NL clubs. EL clubs could also run a PL/NL team - at their choice - if there was a need for more fixtures in their respective rental agreements with their stadium owners. No doubling up and maybe only limited crossover of riders in the respective leagues eg Only the 3 lowest averaged EL riders allowed to ride in their PL/NL team.

I was wondering where Poole's 'blue groove' had gone - and there it was reappearing good as gold at Arlington!! Thanks Uncle Bob. But I guess now that you are giving it all up at the end of this season a new promotion will have a new track curator - or will it?! Maybe also a new race night and a different league (as hinted at by Connor Dugard's tweet!!)

No thread started for this yet. Eastbourne expect to be at full strength, Poole also presumably - depending on this weekend's fixtures?! With limited racing experience of the Arlington track by some of the Poole 1-5 and with stronger Eagles' reserves, I will be very happy if Poole get close to a point from this one!!

Some people seem to be forgetting that the second strings do also partner and ride against the Number 1, 3 and 5 as well as the opposing second strings and reserves. They are not all 'easy' rides, so any improvement in their averages is well deserved imo!!

Not forgetting the chance for the sun to go down and out of the riders' eyeline!!!! and to give the track staff and St.Johns the chance for a p comfort break!!
