  1. Not sure how Bridger can guest at Wimborne Road as its within 8 days - or have I misunderstood that rule?? Maybe Poole have magnanimously agreed to it to make the meeting more competitive - for the benefit of British speedway and the paying public?!
  2. For someone new to the forum, I see you are posting on many threads already. You're not a schoolteacher on Summer holidays by any chance are you?
  3. Performance enhancing vs non-performance enhancing?????? Its a question not a statement or fact!!!
  4. The 2-minute clock is a big red herring!! The klaxon and flashing amber pit light should be enough for everyone. Any decent team manager will use a stop watch as soon as the klaxon sounds. The issue is why the ref disqualified riders when they were on track and ready to race, and why he didn't also disqualify MJJ?!
  5. Announced on the Sky meeting last night that they start on Sept 29th,
  6. No body wants to let on how weak the Leicester side is!!
  7. You obviously haven't seen the local paper today then?! MF: 'No official comment until all the facts are known and the FIM adjudication is announced'! Yes but a 30-day ban from what??
  8. Doubt it, as he wouldn't have been riding at Poole if he hadn't crashed!! Unless MF didn't object in order to make the fixture more competitive!!
  9. But he might only get banned from the GPs for the rest of the season?! He might only be reprimanded or have a suspended sentence?! The point is until the FIM decide and announce, he hasn't failed any tests or done anything wrong in any of the leagues!
  10. Piotr's absence is purely down to pressure from his Polish masters. Its exactly the same situation as KK at Birmingham - and he was castigated by many on here, so if it was right to have a go then, it is right to have a go now. Not that I have a problem with either rider no matter who they are riding (or not riding) for!!
  11. But you still don't 'KNOW' it to be true!! In any court of law, the guilty would be punished and guess what? No punishment, no objections from anyone....fellow BSPA members, SCB officials etc. As I've said umpteen times if there is fault then look to the BSPA MC and/or the Fast Track Co-ordinator - and stop bringing it up on every Poole-related thread!!
  12. As you well know SB I have never said he can do no wrong. I have said he deserves an appropriate punishment, including a ban. The FIM rules take account of whether its the first FIM offence and whether the 'substance' is recognised as 'performance enhancing'. Any penalty can be reduced from a max of 2 years to just a reprimand or anything in between!! If we believe any of the Polish update above, then the Polish Extraliga President feels any ban should only be for the SGP series and not affect any league racing?! Not saying I agree with that, but its only another opinion at this stage!
  13. How come these Poles suddenly have all the 'facts'?? Or once again is it all just another set of opinions and/or misquotes from Sunday?! It sounds very like Darcy's comments in his TV interview, before he was fined 3000 euros!!
  14. Always good to quote only part of the rules that suit your argument!!
  15. You don't 'know' that, even though you may suspect it and want everyone else to believe it!!
  16. The track helped - at least for the first 10 heats!!!
  17. Part of the deal was that he took out the Spanish 'Denplan' insurance - for all opponents!!
  18. Have to agree in part with some of Havvy;s comments! A few teams may well be a bit worried about Coventry reaching the play-offs - nothing to do with the team, with MJJ and Hansen riding like novices - just the state of the track, which looks a danger to everyone.
  19. Polish media seem to be suggesting a 30-day/2xSGPs ban??!
  20. .....and whoever is now responsible for track prep!!!!!?
  21. You obviously missed my post that said he should be punished appropriately and that ALL riders should be compulsorily tested!! As Philip Rising has said elsewhere 3 riders are selected at random by way of a 'draw' for an alcohol test 1 hour prior to each SGP.
  22. Isn't it strange - and a touch hypocritical - that nobody mentions the several riders at Cardiff who were clearly imbibing during the day of the GP, including at least one who was riding later that day and one that could have been if called upon!!!!
  23. Piotr rarely had a problem with Wednesday meetings!! Wednesdays/Thursdays have to be the preferred option.
