So just to get this right, Mr Tolley said Mondays (hence Premiership) were the only days offered by PB for 2024.
Also he was looking at a meeting with the stadium people hoping for a speedway sub-lease of at least 2 years in order to invest more of his dosh.( this looks doubtful in light of ARC getting planning permission for the race course!)?
So is the current position that Brummies are not running in either league?
Nothing will.be announced/confirmed until after the AGM next week, which may throw up some curveballs depending on all the issues they have to sort out eg league structure, number of teams, points limit etc and who supplies the biscuits at tea time.
Good to read in Danny's 'end of season' comments that attendances were up again! Obvious to see for those at every home meeting, but somehow not believed by others!
If its raceable then the ref would tell both teams to get on with it. If, after that decision, either team refused to race then the other team would be awarded the result
Yep I've been shortly after it opened and also attended a wedding! Very nice too. Matt and Helen do look after their sponsors and friends same as Mervyn Stewkesbury and Pete Ansell did!! Although I also visit Portugal regularly too. So convenient from the local airport.
Ah yes the George. I remember those days when I used to drink at speedway - long passed nowadays as it used to skew my opinions. Didnt realise it had a pool table!
As I'm unable to do away meetings any more it'll have to be if you travel up to Poole. Hopefully I'll be in my usual grandstand seat overlooking the start/finish line.
