BE will set the rent at whatever level they wish - maybe just to be bloody-minded if they lose the appeal. I think Osborne said Poole's rent was currently £2.5k per meeting which is just for one sport at the stadium.

The season has always been March to October and the weather has always been the weather!

I guess he's a prime example of 'if you want to make a small fortune from speedway, you have to start with a large one'!

With Birmingham already opting for Monday racing in the Premiership, and Poole staying Championship, the one league scenario seems unlikely.

Viability is still relevant to the BE case as they would still own the site and expect a 'healthy' rental from any users.

So I assume Vissing will be fit to ride Sunday, and Thompson and Complin will be released from their NDL Grand Final commitments? Anders Rowe back for the Pirates is a plus!

Lets hope Joe Thompson is available. as Leicester Cubs are due at Mildenhall in the NDL Final 1st leg

It may surprise some fans but Promoters do talk to each other regularly both in one to one discussions as well as the monthly Team meetings. They all have a pretty good idea of each others finances, especially what is paid to riders!!

In addition to the Speedway staff on every turnstile/entrance there are also stadium H&S staff with 'clickers' doing a body count but hey are easily distracted, often disappearing for a 'chit-chat' or a quiet smoke etc!!

His SGP contract is different to his domestic Eurosport contract.

No team is going to agree to go to a higher division if its not financially viable.
