Just read in this week's SS that Darcy has had his initial 'appeal' against the suspension turned down!! Not sure if that was already in the public domain - I hadn't seen it anywhere?! Presumably that gets rid of any accusations of the wrong procedures in Latvia?! So he only has the actual FIM Disciplinary Commission Hearing to come - possibly end October if not in November - with the added possibility of WADA involvement if they think the eventual punishment is not sufficient?!

Reading between the lines of some of the promoter comments after their meeting last week - I think any big changes for the EL are set for 2016!!

It would be Wednesday OR Thursday, not Wednesday and Thursday!! That would also mean NOT Mondays. Riders who ride Sat/Sun in Europe could then rest on Monday and go straight to Sweden for Tuesdays. There would need to be a choice for some of Denmark or UK on Wednesdays - but not that many!!

At least one EL promoter is proposing only one FT reserve next year with the other being any under 22 years - foreign or otherwise!! Presumably those clubs with both reserves as their assets eg KL, Coventry, could still choose to keep both assuming their calculated averages suit the format/points limit next year?
