The Stadium/Greyhounds manager said the stadium was not available this Monday!! which is another reason why the first leg of a Coventry/Poole final would have been at Brandon, if the semi had not been postponed.
Well CVS is quoted (by SteveBrum I think - apologies if it was another poster) as saying at their fans forum that its been provisionally agreed to go for a 28-meeting fixture schedule, and that equates to 8 teams, home/away twice!!
People seem to be forgetting that the EL may be moving towards midweek speedway next year, so signing any GP rider wouldn't necessarily be a problem - subject to the usual points limitations.
Why on earth would Rosco want Mondays and Tuesdays?? He has enough issues getting the track ready for Monday meetings now with the greyhounds running in the afternoon!!?
And Tuesdays - To make riders make the choice between Sweden and UK?? Yeah right. I think you may have that a bit wrong mate!?
Lakeside is closer to you. Nip down there and make those comments to Gerald Richter and see what response you get!!
Let us all know the reply when you regain consciousness!!
Just to be factual for a moment - Poole Stadium is not available for Speedway this Sunday/Monday!!
The rearranged semi final 2nd leg on Wednesday 15th October is exactly 12 months on from when Poole won at Birmingham in last year's final (Tuesday 15th October 2013).
Hardly a week on Saturday - Poole are racing in Poland!!!
There is absolutely no point in covers being put down on an already wet track. That has been proven already.
In any case the covers would have had to be lifted at least a couple of hours beforehand - when there was/is still the threat of rain!!!
