So DH suggest a shared No. 1 role and theres hardly a comment. When Matt Ford suggested the same thing 2-3 years ago, this forum went into overdrive (again!!)

November 8th for the hearing, I was told last night!!!

Just back in from a very wet Wimborne Road. Great credit to both sets of riders and to Christina Turnbull for getting the meeting to a proper conclusion. For me the difference between the 2 teams was simply Poole's top scorers were their own team members whereas KL's top 2 were their guests - Harris and Garrity. Magic and Kyle were brilliant and rode the most intelligent race lines in the conditions. Eddie Kennett was just awesome!! Schlein didn't want to play and Bjerre wasn't fit but did ok considering!! Well done to the Pirates and bad luck Kings Lynn.

2nd leg of the final is Monday according to fixture lists!!

You need to get a new Ipad!!! Both websites updated hours ago!!

Poole Speedway 2014 Elite League Champions !

Oh the irony!!!! -
You can't come on here posting facts about rider injuries - it destroys any chance of another conspiracy theory!!!! Its like the Stars fans bemoaning the possible loss of Porsing if the meeting is deferred to Thursday - without any mention that Poole will be without Milik!!!
-
only if he is based in or wants to race in UK - which are both doubtful!!
-
Thursday is Poole's official regular rearrangement day.

As has already been reported/posted (but ignored by those that wish to continue stirring), the hole down to the base occurred approx. 2-3 hours before the scheduled race time, which is why it could not satisfactorily be repaired to the riders agreement, despite serious and continued attempts to pack it with the materials available at that time.. The hole in the base has since been repaired during the continued wet weather and was repaired in time for the Thursday rearranged date, which was again rained off! The other issue that the Poole track has to deal with is its close proximity to the sea!!.. The water table is very high in the surrounding area compared to the level of the stadium. This means it takes longer to disperse excess water especially during persistant and heavy rainfall. Not saying that Poole is unique in this respect but it is by no means ideal compared to some other tracks. But clearly not exclusively!! -
Batch for Ward and Johnson for Compton (broken collarbone) confirmed for Wednesday and not as the Stars website has it!!. ps, as a matter of interest (and fact) I went down to the stadium today. The track (and the centre green for that matter) looks very very wet with several pools of water around the white line. There is no visual evidence of any damage where the hole was on the first bend! From purely a personal perspective, the only way Wednesday will be on is if there is no more rain!!! And the forecast is not good, although Thursday is looking much better. Also it seems as though there is no written SCB/BSPA rule as to what happens to determine the finalist, if the semi remains unstaged. So I guess it'll come down to the 'Any other decision will be determined by the BSPA MC'.

Dudek wasn't tested til after the meeting in Poland!! BTW, who's Ben Barker???
-
Information like what??. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 15th and if rained off Thursday 16th - that's been on their website for days. As Sky aren't covering the semi final 2nd leg, I would imagine the covers are already at (or on the way to) Coventry in readiness for Friday!!
-
joking apart...Not when its rained heavily every day!!!
-
As have Woffy, Holder, Hancock, AJ and no doubt many others!!

Poole has had rain - often torrential - every day since last Monday, so please stop stirring SB - or should that be trolling?! Like Wolves, Poole don't have 24/7 access to the stadium or track, whether there are volunteers available 24/7 or not. -
If there is no 'on track' outcome due to the weather, then I expect KL to be given the place in the final, as Poole are off to Poland on Saturday 18th for the European Champions thingy! That will at least save me from having to find a bar in Portugal with Sky Sports to watch the final - whilst trying to avoid BWitcher!!!
-
But he wasn't riding under the influence, because he didn't ride and he didn't put any other rider at risk, because the test was carried out beforehand!! Alcohol is not an illegal substance!! Not trying to defend Ward (see my signature) just to suggest that the punishment is appropriate based on facts rather than opinion!!
-
Didn't say it makes anything better - its simply a different offence which would/should get a different punishment.
-
But they have already held the pre-AGM meeting - which is usually to decide the agenda and the issues that require to be voted on in November.
-
Maybe Dudek's punishment wouldn't have been so much if he hadn't ridden whilst 'under the influence'?!
