  1. Nasty crash!! Just as well there didn't appear to be a huge crowd there to witness it!!!!?
  2. Some of us haven't thawed out from Friday night yet!!!!!
  3. It'll be interesting to see how Go-Speed react if they don't get 'co-operation' from other track commentaries eg DVD production companies and the like?! With the launch of the new streaming service sort of announced (very quietly) when the new Sky deal was signed, I wonder if any undue pressure might be put on clubs/production companies to 'play ball' with Go-Speed - or else?!!!
  4. Jason has the visa in his possession today - there's a photo of it on his facebook page!! His flight leaves Oz on Wednesday afternoon!! He is due to be sharing the Aussie 3rd man role in the World Pairs meeting in Poland on Friday!!!!!
  5. Sky EL 2014 preview show on Monday 7th April at 1830hrs on Sky Sports 2.
  6. Posted Today, 11:25 AM woz01, on 23 Mar 2014 - 10:04 AM, said: ...and at 0300 hours Monday on Sky Sports 2 if anyone has trouble sleeping!!! Hull Vikings v BV Aces (1999) is first up!! and then Wolves v Witches (2004) EL play off S/F and next ---- some meeting from 2010 - too painful to watch!! and next the British Final 2013!
  7. Nothing wrong with attending both clubs regularly!! Garry May does it!
  8. Do you include Ben Barker and ....(name your rider).... in that remark?
  9. Fair question - I've had similar problem living in a flat with a mail box on the external front wall, which is not 100% weatherproof!!!
  10. Doyley's Visa approved today!! He's on his way!
  11. ...and anyway this is about what his Tier 5 Visa will allow - and it won't allow both EL and PL!!!
  12. I think Doyley already had contracts sorted abroad - in fact he would still have raced in the Polish/Swedish leagues even if his UK visa application had finally failed. As regards the '20 hours', I don't believe him being an EL Number 1 with Leicester will allow him to do any PL meetings
  13. The 20 hours is supposed to be 'of the same level', ie EL standard only if my understanding is correct.
  14. Part of the issue here is the late announcement of the dates ie after the official cut-off date for all 'international fixtures'!!! There would be nothing to stop more rounds being added by One Sport which could then conflict with a British team entry!!?
  15. .....or to actually attend a meeting!!
  16. All those that are thought more highly of in speedway circles possibly!!
  17. ...hence the carefully worded press release that his withdrawal is in part 'injury-related', which will later be further explained as meaning 'still too injured to do a full SGP series, but recovered enough to do a few SEC and Best Pairs meetings'!!! So as ever, money and sponsorship does the talking - who will be the next??
  18. Not forgetting Herbie Hancock too!! IMO I don't believe the money owed by Czestochowa is the whole issue - this is another part of the One Sport/BSI tug of war!!!
  19. Back to the title of the thread - yes BSI are doing plenty to promote speedway in the SGP series - and would probably achieve more if it weren't for the 'new' SEC series!!!!
  20. So despite his fitness issues, will Emil still compete in SEC and Euro Best Pairs events - which start on 28th March??????????
