Well he's not been announced in the rider list of the Aussie Championships - because of the provisional international suspension - so there goes any hope of getting the SGP Wildcard for the Aussie GP in October, unless the Aussie authorities and/or BSI have a rethink!! I would call that a significant punishment.

I would imagine that MF has a minimum of 5 preferred team options on the drawing board - he usually does!!. At least 3 with any combination of Ward and or Holder. He also has to consider Magic's decision re his increased GP commitments and lets not forget - Shamek (and his brother) are NOT Poole assets, so any contract discussions with them can only be with the agreement of Coventry/Wolverhampton!! By the same token no other club can have contract discussions with any Poole assets without MF's agreement!! With the difference in Ward and Holder's average a mere 0.05, a similar amount could make a similar big difference in the final choice of 3rd heat leader and/or 2nd strings!! Merry Christmas one and all!!

You are right - I didn't read it properly. So giving someone 'a lifeline' compared to a couple of guest bookings clearly doesn't count for much then!! Or maybe it just depends on who is doing the offering? BTW there's no guarantee yet that he will be riding for Poole in 2015.

'Poole didn't want anything to do with Dak'??? Except guesting for us at the end of the season!! Kyle was dropped by Poole because his form fell away. Still, being at Swindon is the next closest option for being with Middlo's daughter!!

Or closer to the truth maybe - Peterborough's Rick Frost had offers from Poole and Swindon and chose Poole!! I wonder why?!

If Rosco is not intending to use Miedzinski, I reckon he would be a good bet to join Doyley. He's a very good gater and will be riding with Doyley at Torun so travelling together etc would make some sense.

I thought Keith Chapman was quoted as saying, before the draft, that as the rules allow him to keep the whole of the 2014 team, he was hopeful of doing so!! 6 out of 7 ain't bad and practically unheard of in modernday EL to be virtually top of the league all season and be able to retain your top 5!!!! Just shows how important the reserves were.

It was scheduled for January 8th I believe - but others are now saying its been put back to 15th.
