I think there should be a full clear-out now that Middlo has quit. Morris should go to as he was just as much a part of the TEAM GB set-up as Middlo!!! Give it to Rosco and Screeny!!!

Not disputing the need for more/better online marketing, but I would be interested to know exactly how that would produce 'higher quality racing'?? Would the rider in 2nd, 3rd or 4th place be tweeting his partner away in the lead to slow down a bit?

I wish people would take the trouble to read the latest posts from those 'in the know' eg Tsunami, amongst others. Also the statement on www.speedwaygp.com by Jon Cook gives more detail and fills in some of the gaps in the original (rushed!) headline statement issued Sunday.

So it seems the 20 NL (or whatever) Brits are to be selected by Phil Morris and Neil Vatcher - the joint U21 Team GB managers - prior to the allocation! Presumably those selected will have been spoken with first and only 'put forward' if they want to progress and agree to whatever the 'terms' are??!!

I'm sure its not just me, but isn't this AGAIN a case of the BSPA rushing out a press release that hasn't been properly thought through, as it raises as many questions as it attempts to give answers?! It happened last year as well when a further full statement 'offering clarification' had to be issued. Already statements appearing on club websites and other social media use different wording to the 'official' statement and consequently lead to other confusing interpretations. Whoever composes/issues these statements needs a good education in 'how to write a press release'!!

With the confidence in having a new TV deal imminent, I guess that the BSPA announcement so far is equivalent to a Plan A?! As soon as the TV deal is confirmed, then expect Plan B to appear!

Except for Lakeside who seem to already 'expect' to have Ellis!!!

Was tried at other tracks too, but I seem to recall riders were against it because of the extra cost of too many burnt out clutches!!

Isn't there an argument for having a 3xdivision league (ie EL and PL teams split into 3 divisions) North/Midlands/South - NL to remain separate.? Each division has home/away twice, with the 3 respective division winners in a 3-way play-off. I haven't done the calculations - just reacting to all the 'anti-North/South structure'!

Just a thought - even though expected, anyone seen anything official announced anywhere?? Or has someone leaked an advance copy of the BSPA AGM agenda?

Middlo made no secret of the fact that he was packing it in! Personally I'd like to see Neil Vatcher give it a go, with Morris sticking to the U21s!!!

For those fans that want 'all the top riders', who are we actually talking about and how are we going to get them all and spread them among 9, 10, 11 or 12 'top level' teams?? Its just not on!! If we're '(un-) lucky', we may get a rule change that introduces ' a max of one GP rider per team' - but as others have said - what use is that in providing decent racing over 15 heats?? The sport has to re-group - with or without a major sponsor, TV or not! - lets get back to weekly team racing at a reasonable cost to the supporters! Maybe a typical ss response, but not typical of all Poole fans!!!!

Can't imagine there being a huge fight between BT and Sky for Speedway rights!! You seem to be assuming that the EL will increase in size?! What about Birmingham, Swindon and Eastbourne (and others???) who have reportedly had major financial losses eg Eastbourne not less than £70k!!

In case you didn't notice TWK - there's a question mark after 'name only'? That usually questions the statement or opinion, when its not a fact!!

I think you might well find Holder taking part - if his recuperation continues to go to plan as it has done over recent weeks - if only for the chance to have a skid!!
