Dead right, but not really the point of this bit of the argument. Its about the delay in reaching a hearing/verdict, which is also having an effect on more than one team's planning for 2015. (when incidentally any offence was not committed when riding for any league team - but that's old ground!)
-
But Matt likes Emil, who undoubtedly is one of the world's top riders. Lets not forget that Matt had Emil lined up to represent Poole in the initial (but postponed) World Speedway League fixture.
-
Just be nice to Darcy if he gets no further ban and Rosco signs him (at the second attempt!!)
-
The topic is about the heat formula not the current make up of teams or the strength of the league, or how many races the Elite Reserves are in - the latter is not expected to change from 2014, unless they insist on both reserves taking 4 rides minimum?! The main change expected is around the away number 4 getting an earlier first race than waiting til heat 5! Not sure what 'blue tints' has to do with anything?? Don't Kings Lynn ride in blue? I'm a fan of 30 years + and would like to think fairly intelligent (although others may disagree). Like others on here it doesn't concern me one jot that as a fan I don't know who is going to be in what race until I get to the meeting. I know the 3 heat leaders will get 4 or 5 rides each and that there will be 15 heats involving the 7 riders that I know are in my team unless any are missing through injury etc. If I bring someone new to a meeting, as I have on many many occasions, do you really think they wouldn't attend unless they knew the race format 2 months in advance. Enjoy your moaning and Happy New Year!!

Well said, Sydney. He needs to calm down a tad!!

As it appears from the Lakeside statement that Davey Watt has been in Poole's plan for some time?! Someone on the Poole forum is now suggesting Poole's top 5 to be Holder 8.75;Kurtz 4.52;Pawlicki 6.75;North 6.57; Watt 6.71. Total 33.30 (That's with 3 recognised heat leaders and keeping North as a second string)!!
-
Don't disagree with any of that Baz - but any team manager can do that before any meeting. There is no advantage in knowing the race format now rather than the week before the season starts.
-
Its only for Clubs, riders and managers (and the programme editors) to be aware of before the first team meeting of the season. I really cannot understand why people get so uptight about it - there will be 15 heats involving all 7 riders from each team , end of!! Do people go to footie matches knowing in advance who will take each free kick, corner, penalty or throw-in????
-
I hardly think Middlo is defending Ward??!! Showing a bit of support? Definitely - just as his Swedish team manager has done! He's primarily having a go at the length of time this has been allowed to drag on - as many on here have also said.
-
If you are referring to the 2 latest team changes I suggest you check their and the BSPA twitter feed.
-
Well at least Poole have kept up their winning ways in 2014 - picking up the best EL matchday programme award from the Speedy Star this week.
-
So, in the article about Eddie Kennett in this week's SS, his average is stated as 5.03. Over to SCB...........!!?
-
I believe he's thought about it several times over - and has decided to sit out 2015 in UK!!
-
Matt Ford mentioned Walesek along with a number of other Poole assets when answering questions at the fans quiz night. It was in the context of 'preferring riders that had shown loyalty to the club'!!! So I can't see Walesek meeting that criteria! Milik is a better option, if Matt chooses that particular route?!

Barker & Worrall In Argentina

Karma!!! -
Maybe not 'world class' but certainly entertaining and worth the admission money whether riding for or against the Pirates at Wimborne Road.
-
Think you'll find that the 'jobshare' issue is still on the table at the January BSPA meeting if some clubs are still struggling to get heatleaders!! (If Tai had gone with the job share option then it would have been available to all EL clubs then!!) Yes but Doyley also fell out with Poole (hence the Doyle/Janowski swap) so it can't all be down to Rosco!!

They are probably holed up in a hotel room somewhere, with some of the locals!! -
I think they have decided! Its just a case of whether the decision might be changed?! Having taken very little notice of the UKBA (now UKV&I) in the past, its now coming back to haunt the BSPA members.
-
It can't have been 20 years ago - he would have been wearing Pirate colours!!
-
....but you could have made a quick withdrawal from the 'hole in the wall'!!
-
No! If Maciej chooses not to return to Poole in 2015 due to his increased racing commitments in the GPs, then he won't race anywhere else in the UK!
-
Russell Lanning does a regular speedway column in the Sun - usually on a Saturday and often in the week, when there is decent news!! I must admit though I was surprised (not to say shocked) to see Rosco's pic!! Which of them doesn't have a Polish team?!!

Who has to do the inspections?? -
No worries - he only has to turn left!! PS. How about this option? Holder 8.75; B.Kurtz 4.52; North 6.57; Ward 8.70; and Timo Lahti 5.45; or any PL double upper upto 8.74 (EL 5.46) eg. Rohan Tungate??
