Because he only just got back to Oz due to visa issues and didn't have any of his own bikes/machinery there - hence using stuff borrowed from younger brother Jack.

Shouldn't take much notice of Chris Holder's performance as he said before leaving the UK that unless he had 2 decent bikes at his disposal he would not mount a serious challenge. We all know that FIM Europe work to a different set of rules to the main FIM. That's how the SEC was born as a separate competition to the SGP series.

It was stated at the time of the AGM statement that BSPA/SCB would look at making some minor changes - primarily to avoid the away No. 4 waiting til heat 5 for his first ride!! Its generally known that the BSPA have a meeting planned for January (the same every year!), so I imagine someone has been tasked with looking at the format and reporting back prior to ratification.

Gav, do you know Matt Ford from any other capacity than Promoter of Poole Speedway? I guess you don't as you say you've never met him so any comment 'disliking' or 'badmouthing' MF could easily be deemed as anti-Poole! As far as' your opinion being valid because you believe it' is concerned then I assume that everything a person believes is 100% valid then, despite it being pointed out that its not possible!! Incidentally I note you chose to ignore the fact that Darcy Ward cannot take part in the Aussie Championships or any of the State Championships in December/January, to suit your 'belief'!!

Can't see THJ being interested in a full EL season now that he's in the GPs, no matter which team is interested. He certainly was interested at the beginning of 2014 but MF chose to take a different route. THJ also has a young family now so won't want to be away from them for longer than necessary.

Didn't say it wasn't important - just not important for fans to know now!!! Much prefer they take as long as they like and make the necessary tweak(s) to improve those errors before the first meeting programmes are printed!

The only part of your second sentence I disagree with is 'the only person affected is Ward'!! Despite some fans on here slagging Ward off at every opportunity (some deservedly so I admit), there are still many many fans and promoters of all clubs who want to see him back racing asap. He puts bums on seats and money in the bank - something that British on-track speedway in particular can ill-afford to lose - whether it be at Poole or elsewhere!!!.
