For a moment there I thought I'd stumbled on Poole's Gracjzonek/Milik v Watt argument!!

Milik has stepped up a league in Poland and has other commitments too, so may not be able/want to do a full UK season again. (even though he would be my preference as a 2nd string again!) Magic is still very unsure of his commitments with the GPs and not wanting to overcommit himself. He will consider Uk at a push as he gets on so well with Matt - I believe he's given Sweden a miss so far for 2015.

Many of you Panthers fans seem to be missing the point that Rick, Julie and Matt Ford have been good friends for a number of years. Forget all the ball$**t and mis-information that came out of the so-called 'Winter of Discontent', much of which was generated by a certain Midlands team's then promotion, who couldn't get their own way - and threw their toys out of their pram whilst pointing the finger of blame southwards. If you ever get the opportunity to speak to Rick Frost politely, he will tell you in no uncertain terms how he regrets being led down that particular garden path!!! At a Poole Sponsors function 18 months/2 years ago, at which Rick and Julie were guests, he was overheard to say that 'he would be delighted if Panthers had as many supporters as Poole seem to have sponsors'! Slightly tongue in cheek but reinforcing the fact that speedway has to be run as a business and effectively promoted.

I thought it was already the 'Elite Riders Championship' allowing 'non - EL' riders Like Woffy) to take part. I mean they have to have SOME decent stars to justify the admission charges don't they?!

So 'from the horses mouth' this morning Matt Ford on BBC Radio Solent says he will wait until the result of Ward's hearing before finalising his team. He is working on any one of the 3 following team options:- 1. Including Darcy Ward (8.70) 2. Including Maciej Janowski (7.50) 3. Including neither of the above but going with 2 riders of around 6 points (with 11.97 still available.)

For today's Round 2 Chris is using machinery loaned by Leigh Adams. The point is that he didn't know that he was definitely going back to defend the title until a few days before Christmas, despite the organisers including his name in the field!!

Because he only just got back to Oz due to visa issues and didn't have any of his own bikes/machinery there - hence using stuff borrowed from younger brother Jack.

Its clearly a business decision between friends!!

Tungate unlucky not to win it - he burnt out the clutch in the A final!! Shouldn't take much notice of Chris Holder's performance as he said before leaving the UK that unless he had 2 decent bikes at his disposal he would not mount a serious challenge. He's only been back in Oz for a few days so very little time to get things organised! He would probably have dropped out if the organisers hadn't made such a big deal about him being in it!!!

We all know that FIM Europe work to a different set of rules to the main FIM. That's how the SEC was born as a separate competition to the SGP series.

It was stated at the time of the AGM statement that BSPA/SCB would look at making some minor changes - primarily to avoid the away No. 4 waiting til heat 5 for his first ride!! Its generally known that the BSPA have a meeting planned for January (the same every year!), so I imagine someone has been tasked with looking at the format and reporting back prior to ratification.
