Vinnie Foord - is he too dangerous?
SteveLyric2 replied to BackInTheDHSS's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Your last paragraph should also apply to the small group of very hostile Oxford 'fans' - many of whom were older and should know better- who cheered and gesticulated when he hit the airfence in front of them which undoubtedly provoked his reaction. It's the first time i've ever witnessed stadium security being called to attend to their behaviour. -
Wow. Just back from a very lively Wimborne Road. Super efficient job done by the Pirates (Tobias 10+2 season best!). Shame that Oxford choked on their 12 point first leg lead when the pressure was on, especially having won there previously! Still another great night for Pirate fans and a huge crowd and atmosphere. Bring on the KO CUP Final - no dates yet!!!!😍

Surely with Martin Dugard, Floppy Norris and Ed Kennett still actively involved with helping young riders like Hagon, Foord and Brennan, they would have some persuasion influence?
-
Plus he's had a lot more on his mind with a pregnant wife, until last week!!
-
Simply flipped it!!
-
Very flippant.😝
-
I said 'usually'!
-
Vinnie rarely troubles the airfence, he usually finds the ruts, bumps etc. mid track! BTW why would Will replace Vinnie?
-
It's a forum ffs!! Flippant remarks all over the place!! I wouldn't have said anything if it didn't involve a Poole rider. (Oops a bit of a giveaway there) See another flippant remark!!😇
-
Not forgetting the usual stalkers!!!
-
Nowhere did it say 'deliberate'!! Since I posted, a couple of fans there supporting Vinnie have used exactly that 'took him out' phraseology on Facebook. Quite usual when the culprit is excluded.
-
No not there, just reporting from Speedway Updates. Killeen excluded.
-
Cairns off to hospital after Killeen takes him out in the U.19s at Oxford today. Meeting abandoned after heat 16 due to track conditions!! Greg Hancock assisting Cairns today.
-
So BSN's comms duo Brannen and Schlein reckon there were some of next season's Pirate riders around helping in the Poole pits tonite!!!
-
....because Poland are taking Thursdays as well!!
