It would appear that the date for the ERC should NOT have been made public by any EL team!!! (Not now on the Leicester list but still on Lakeside's) Nor any of the BSPA shared events by all accounts!!

Sounds as though Poole may make an imminent team announcement rather than wait for Darcy's hearing and uncertainty. Middlo quoted in today's local Echo that a 'head over heart' decision could well be made as soon as he and Matt are back from a few days away.

Expect something to change dates after all the furore over Havvy's Testimonial clash with the ERC last year?!!!!

Its no longer the Elite League Riders Championship -simply the ERC, allowing non-EL riders to be invited!!

Haven't the PL promoters said they would look at introducing their 'Fast Track' equivalent in 2016?! I'm sure that was stated in the post-AGM comments!

Not sure why you say he has an inflated average? In 2012 he rode 13 meetings (7 Home/6 Away) and finished with a home CMA of 9.20 and Away of 7.33. He finished 1st or 2nd in 40 of his 54 rides!! If he has the right support in the pits he will do you a great job.

Notwithstanding all the serious family health issues he was trying to deal with as well!!

Most decent riders can set their bikes up for most tracks preps. What they want from their home track is week-on-week consistency.

But probably seen by a far bigger audience on BBC and BT Sport combined rather than Sky3!!

Nothing wrong with mentioning a Poole fan - especially a new World Champion, Scott Mitchell, on mainstream TV that got the Pirates and speedway mentioned in commentary and the Pirates' logo on his left arm in direct camera view.. I'm sure if he had any other speedway club's emblem on his shirt, then that club would try to make the most of it!!
