That's why I questioned why the Rebels had chosen the same P&P day as Poole's?! It seems a bit crazy for whichever club not to have all their team on show for official photos etc?! I mean what happens if Poole eventually choose to use Josh G and Brady Kurtz?!

You may well be right with your last sentence - I hope not! Darcy is now in a steady relationship with a young lady and seems to have settled down a lot, but we will have to wait and see. If the FIM decision does not come through until March 16th then Poole will not wait that long imo, (may have some news on that later!!) . However, as has been stated, if he doesn't get a UK team place then that will have an effect on any visa application and will clearly add extra personal pressures onto him! That is not in any way an excuse or in support of his alleged actions - merely telling it as I see it!! My hopes are to see him back on a speedway bike as soon as is feasible and reasonable.

Ah so you are saying that those rumours of there being something wrong with the testing are true then and not just made up by the pro-Ward camp?! (BTW mdmc82, I only had you at 'evens' to be the first to respond - there were a few others who I had as 'odds-on'!!) Very few - if any - Poole fans are saying he's a hero. He is a victim of his own actions and should be punished appropriately for the alleged offence as I've said from the beginning! Those that are now showing some support for Ward's situation are doing so because of the length of time the decision is taking! (Not just Poole fans either!) Rightly or wrongly, if its within the current FIM rules and regs to take this amount of time, then I hope that any pressure brought to bear on the FIM by any of its member organisations to speed up future deliberations, will have some beneficial effect - not just for speedway but for all motorcycle sports!!

I made the observation because the article/interview in this week's Star says that Starke will have 'the first opportunity to test his new equipment' at Poole's Wimborne Road on their Press Day on 18th March!! Poole too have an embargo on when bikes can get on the track - it has to be after 3pm so as not to impact on the school next door!

Its a bit weird with this 45 day 'ruling', as the same regs also suggest a hearing should take place within 3 months of the alleged offence - but hey who's counting?

If Poole don't sign him, whether he picks up a further suspension/ban or not, he can't get a work visa for the UK?! Not sure if the new regs for visa sponsorship require a full season's contract?! I would assume they do!

Its a bit unusual for Somerset to have their P&P day on a Wednesday?? March 18th - same day as Poole's - could cause some issues unless the timings are very different, depending on the final team line-ups!!?

Just as a matter of interest, I read in the Star this week that Patrick Dudek is appealing the rest of his ban, having served 6 months!! As it seems we are going over old ground again, worth pointing out (again) that Danno's punishment was by SVEMO whilst Ward's is as we know from FIM.

Imagine the uproar if WADA BSF deemed his ban to lenient. Ward's and his non-fans will break down the Internet!
