Just re-read the FIM statement, which is only concerned with the offence and the punishment, rather than any 'reasoning' behind it!! That is still to come in a later FIM statement. There must be some factual reasoning as to why the ban was 10 months, rather than the max of 2 years?! Await with interest.......................

You are reading too much into the FIM statement. The statement is about Darcy Ward's offence at the SGP. Its rider points and what he has been paid for them that is referred to - nothing to do with any of his clubs!! IMO its a bit of a silly paragraph about the 17/8 til 27/8 as it was the FIM's fault he wasn't suspended straight away anyway. If he had been then he wouldn't have ridden - nothing to do with any of his league clubs! In any case how are the FIM going to monitor Ward's points payment deduction?!

Yes I blame a momentary brain freeze with the excitement of a Ward return in July. I apologise on the Poole thread too!! Its not an MA decision, its BSI's.

Its about the rider not being paid for those points - not penalising any of the clubs he rode for! Incidentally, Darcy back in July on a lower average (having had his 8+3 and 5 points expunged) could be a no-brainer! I wonder which of the Poole riders will be feeling the extra GP pressures by then? ps. looking at the long range weather forecast for April/May/June - I see a lot of rain offs!!

Why is this on a Poole thread?? But as it is, I would like to agree with part of your 2nd sentence about 'continuation'! Why couldn't the powers that be have a points limit allowing all teams to retain their previous year's 1-7 if they so wish? (especially as the 2015 limit only directly affects Poole in that context!!)

'Us supporters' who were at the fans forum back last year when MF was interviewed by Nigel Leahy, heard him say that he was considering at least 3 team options: one with Holder/Ward + another; one with Holder/Janowski + another; and one with Holder + 2 others 'around the 5+ to 6+ point mark. I have since heard that there may even be a 4th option. And I have a pretty good idea who those riders are in each of the options but wouldn't want to announce any names in case MF goes for a different scenario?! As I said above, it won't be long before an announcement is made to start the season!!

Ever thought they might not be able to announce the last rider as there may be some doubt over one already announced?!

Whats that got to do with anything?? Personally, I'm quite pleased the other riders in the various equations have kept quiet about the possibilities. But I guess we should hear something by the weekend as that's 2 weeks prior to the official start of the season - unless Poole have some 'special dispensation' from the BSPA? Surely not.......?!
