Thought Chris looked understandably a little tentative at times during P&P - but he's certainly putting in some laps. Torun Tuesday, Poole yesterday and back to Torun today/tomorrow before the ELRC, at which he 'hoped to just get around safely!' Maybe Magic at 1 for the first few weeks might be a better option?! Looks as though Poole will do the same as last year in switching Gomolski and North (2&4) between certain home and away meetings.

Just to emphasise the point, at todays P&P, Poole's team kevlars clearly came from 2 different suppliers with variations in the darker and lighter blue/white. A clear case of there not being a 'blueprint'!!

Originally the BSPA decision not to support was to 'protect' the EL Saturday tracks - especially as the Pairs dates were never announced until after the respective League fixtures. As it now primarily only affects Leicester - who will have Doyle representing the Aussies anyway - I can't now see what their issue is other than we haven't got a decent pair to compete with the other countries.

Quite correct. Also, When Poole were considering hosting it, the date was Friday 24th April. Once FIM insisted it being on Saturday 25th, it ruled out Poole due to no track availability.

Surely a camera can be fitted to the handle bars very easily - admittedly it might be pointing outwards when the bike is sliding?!

Green being 'unlucky' is a traditional theatrical thing. Not sure where/when it started, but you won't find (m)any theatres or concert venues with green anywhere to be seen, even down to having no green paint in dressing rooms etc.

I agree that's what should happen - and this is not a dig at KL - but several clubs have the same issue. Poole, different shades of blue; Wolves, orange that appeared pink to some; Coventry, Gold/yellow in different shades. Just saying.

Either way I doubt DW will issue a statement until he gets the FIM's 'full reasoning', either in a public announcement of their adjudication or in a prior notice to Darcy. Nice to see the '45 days' now being referred to as irrelevant - shame you didn't step in earlier in the thread.

He can't/won't give a statement until FIM have given their 'full reasoning' in their own statement, which according to the often quoted FIM rule should be within 45 days of the hearing, so we've got til Sunday for the FIM to issue theirs first. Then DW has 21 days to appeal or not.
