That depends on your definition of 'harsh'?! I would say not giving him a hearing or reaching a decision for almost 5 months is fairly 'harsh'!! Just an opinion which is no more right or wrong than yours or Sydney's!!

That's not what Sidney said at all!! He said he should be punished!!! Most Poole fans - even the most ardent ones - agree he should be punished (see my signature), based on the full facts of the 'crime'. Of course he can come back from a ban - its the ludicrous amount of time its taking the FIM to get their act together that is frustrating most Poole/Torun and Piraterna fans!!

I thought the standard suspension was up to 2 years, with discretion if it was his first FIM offence - which it was. Whatever the final punishment - it will be what it will be! But what is wrong, very wrong, is the delay in dealing with the case and stopping all his clubs from making any plans for 2015, when the offence occurred only at one GP!

Fricke has a contract with Torun, in Poland but not sure if they intend to use him due to the number of foreigners allowed - they already have Holder, Doyle and Laguta!!

But he's signed a Torun contract now!! Darcy will be available - subject to the length of any ban.

The restriction on EL riders on 6+ averages 'doubling down' is because the PL promoters were worried about affording their wages - it states as much in the SS summary this week. Similarly the EL restriction on only 2 riders above 7 points is because some (not all) promotions cannot afford more.

This the wording of the relevant rule in the 2014 regs:- 18.6.4 If a Rider has only an EL Established MA from the previous season, then a conversion is necessary; the EL MA is divided by 0.6, subject to the maximum converted MA being 12.00 As already stated we don't yet have the 2015 version to compare

This was reported last week when his lawyers were quoted as saying they only expected Darcy to 6-8 months, backdated to the start of his suspension!! Maybe they know something we don't?!
