Either way I doubt DW will issue a statement until he gets the FIM's 'full reasoning', either in a public announcement of their adjudication or in a prior notice to Darcy. Nice to see the '45 days' now being referred to as irrelevant - shame you didn't step in earlier in the thread.

He can't/won't give a statement until FIM have given their 'full reasoning' in their own statement, which according to the often quoted FIM rule should be within 45 days of the hearing, so we've got til Sunday for the FIM to issue theirs first. Then DW has 21 days to appeal or not.

I did read it the first time!! A bit of both really. When I spoke to him (via the interpreter/mechanic) at the end-of-season Awards night, he said he would like to come back - they all say that don't they - but it would depend on other commitments. At that stage he hadn't secured his Polish Extraleague place and of course nobody knew what the EL team-building points limit was going to be?! As for Davey, as 3rd heat leader and not having the extra responsibility of the number 1 race jacket a'la Lakeside, I reckon he will be just fine.

With changes in the Czecho league format and stepping up to the top league in Poland, Vaclav was not as keen to do the EL this year. Added to that was the fact that if MF had managed to convince him, he could have been the 3rd heat leader - a position that most Poole fans would agree he struggled with when he stepped up last year! Shame, cos I enjoyed watching him race

Finishing runner-up to Piotr Pawlicki in the World U-21s last season will do for me - and he beat Vaclav Milik into 3rd place and we know how well Vaclav did for Poole last year! Apparantly Holder, Watt and Janowski all raved about him!

Well he did ride from the season start til end June for Swindon in 2013. Just as well you're not a promoter then cos come the beginning of July, IF Poole don't/can't use him and he is still keen to do EL, then every other promoter will be having some serious talks with their respective bank managers, to bite his arm off!!

Looking forward to seeing the Lions this season - I couldn't travel up last year - I well remember Bjarne and Jason's team riding for Poole back in the day!!!!!!

Lets hope Eurosport introduce a 'pits interviewer' for the coming SGP series. If each rider is interviewed before the meeting, walking (a straight line) towards the camera, we can all give our views as to how intelligible they are and whether they should be allowed to race?!

GRW123, I know exactly who the final 2 riders are/were - as do several other fans and sponsors. The error I made with an earlier post was thinking that MF was back from hols at the weekend, whereas he then told me he was away until Tuesday ie today. So expect an announcement soon - although I'm surprised so many are that interested, as it now doesn't affect any other teams - unless of course there has been any last minute hitch which is not insurmountable - as MF said in his last official statement on the issue.

I'm a Poole fan - I know the answers. As I've said before MF is back from hols tomorrow so it won't be long. I'm just delighted everyone else is so interested.
