  1. Riding as a heat leader, he should be fine around Lakeside. Hope his 'bug' has cleared up!! I do have him on ignore, but do tend to read those posts that are about Poole in any way!!! Thinking about it, that's probably the vast majority of them!! Btw, what's the 'ant' difference?
  2. Its for riders who didn't ride at all in 2014 - not those that didn't ride enough meetings! He's having his first practice on Sunday, he tweeted earlier.
  3. Spot on Gav. Carry on like that and I might have to take you off 'ignore'!! Great to hear ALL the riders say how great the track was tonight. Public 'Congrats' in the post match interviews to Gerald Richter who had discussions with the riders last week following the delivery of new shale.
  4. Hope its a decent crowd with the footie on also!! Should be a tight one.
  5. Yes it includes 2013 scores according to Poole's webmaster/PR. It affects Freddie Lindgren too.
  6. I wonder if its that well known 'Swedish rearranged fixture' bug??
  7. As long as he's getting paid everywhere?!
  8. I think the Danish League is named alongside the Swedish and Polish Leagues in the 2015 'Facility' rule!! PS. Is Bjarne riding tonight or has he quit yet and gone home?!
  9. Not sure how focussed Davey Watt will be following a family bereavement yesterday? Sincere condolences Davey.
  10. As stated earlier, it affects the rolling average of any rider that didn't ride in 2014 (the rule had stated that the 20 meeting average would be calculated only on 2015/2014 scores) but rode in 2013. In Poole's case, as an example, it affects only Gomolski whose new average (4.67) came into effect yesterday 5/5/15.
  11. So it would be a World Speedway League in Europe then? Where have I heard that before?
  12. Hope someone is finding him some equipment then!!!!
  13. A bit surprised Eurosport2 have allocated a full hour for this, prior to the live Swedish meeting??!
  14. Davey's starting average 6.71 was based on the old 28-meeting rolling averages. The May figure is based on the most recent 20 meetings, despite the fact that last night was his first 2015 EL meeting. Incidentally, I don't know what Chris was doing scoring all those points - he supposed to be getting his average down to below 7 points!!! A heat leader trio of Ward, Janowski and Holder will leave just over 10 points for the final 2 riders in the July redeclaration......!!
  15. If the printing and sale of a few programmes is an issue, it shows just how finely balanced the finances are - at all clubs!!
  16. He can only get a visa if the application form is correctly sponsored by the club offering him a contract to ride!!
  17. Where would the 'Rest of the World' team hold their home meetings? Italy, Argentina, Finland or USA?
  18. 'Over 1500 snapped up in first 24 hours' according to BV website!! I assume that means 'paid-for'?
  19. The Poole webmaster originally confirmed r/r but then updated his comments with 'could possibly be a guest'?! Nothing more since and the official preview is not yet up.
  20. Apparantly there has been a new supplementary rule added to the regs only regarding those riders who did not ride in 2014 - to "overcome any confusion"??
  21. Still a bit odd though - but I guess as its the BSPA I shouldn't be surprised
  22. I understand that - so why didn't he start on a lower average then? He only rode one Elite Shield meeting before getting injured?! Someone has asked about Gomolski's average on the Poole forum and the answer was 'because a new directive was issued to promoters on Friday'??!! It doesn't say what the directive said?!! Strange............?!
  23. I don't understand that either - any more than why Watt's average has gone from 6.71 up to 7.08 whilst he's been out injured??!!
