The club have admitted it was their 'administrative error'! Mind you in this modern age of technology and bearing in mind it involved Kildemand, I'm surprised it wasn't a text message?!

Except that Darcy is in Australia!! Batch did us proud in the play-offs last year but I don't think he's the answer based on his rides since his injuries - and he's guesting for AJ anyway!! R/r for Magic confirmed for Monday.

Well done to the Aces for a much better all-round team performance. Whatever the supposed issues with the track, teams will not win anything if their heat leaders don't reach double figures, however well the support riders are doing. Yet again the Pirates didn't gate - although a little better than against the Bees - and they didn't seem to have anything like the same speed as the Aces. All in all, lucky to get the point!! Anyway, on to Wolves on Monday - Davey Watt returns as a 2nd string and Lewis Rose guests for Starke!! PS. Good to catch up again with Lemo before the meeting - top lad!!

The gist of the article is basically how pleased they were with it - TV, Attendance, publicity etc. They have plans, supported by FIM, to have 4 rounds next year (That was the original plan!). The longer term aims are to invite the top 2 clubs from each league and also eventually to include teams from Germany. However the meetings/tournament need major sponsorship so that clubs and riders (and FIM presumably) 'can all earn money' from it. The rules of rider eligibility are constantly under review and discussion with all authorities. Eg the Polish Leagues have already proposed Polish riders only riding in a maximum of 2 leagues - Poland and ONE other!! The riders of all nationalities are understandably against this proposal - so this will need clarifying! Watch this space......

So, the forecasted rain arrived on schedule at around 9 am but seems to be going through fairly quickly. All forecasts are now for a dry and even sunny afternoon/evening. Thanks to Lawson for stepping in at very short notice and he will hopefully be wanting to do much better than his last home guest appearance?!

Weather permitting, and with Magic back, Poole need to have their gating gloves back on and a 10 point win is not out of the realms of possibility.

Mainly due to the strength of the team rather than the track then!! Are Poole the best away side over that same period too?
