With only 5 more home meetings (and 10 away) starting with Poole on Monday, they've still got to get into the play-offs in order to win anything!!
-
Has it been decided what average Ward comes back on? ie 8.70 or one that is affected by the FIM punishment?
-
Surprised kelvin didn't make any mention of it!!?
-
Still in Oz at the moment training at the gym - so still waiting for visa and/or flight!!!

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at that meeting - bearing in mind who is currently on the SCB!! -

Perhaps it is - its just the various 'statements' that give the situation a different slant!! -
only with half a hand though, so not really sincere!!!!

Swedish Elitserien 2015, Round 8

To be fair, a highlights package is more than sufficient - whichever leagues are being shown!! -
Anyone know what Christain Hefenbrock is doing?? 3.81 I believe from 2011.

I think there is a 'longer term plan' as far as the EDRs go, but it surely has to be a bit 'provisional' depending on how the EDR riders perform each season. I guarantee that there will be some Grade A EDRs who will want to stay EDRs rather than be promoted into the 1-5 next year - just as there were at least a couple of EDRs that wanted to be 2nd strings this year but weren't allowed to by their promoters because the club ©wouldn't guarantee them a 1-5 place this year!!
-
EDRs don't count as double-uppers. The proposal - if it goes through - is to have at least one Brit from the EDR as a second string. Whether that affects how the EDR system works in the future we shall have to see.
-
Probably at least 3 from next season if BSPA stick to their proposal at the AGM!!!

Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 8/3/15

So Lakeside arrive with Milik for Nilsson; Howarth for Bech and Wilkinson for Birks. Should be a good meeting. I bet the viewing figures for Sky's Berwick v Peterboro meeting will be down!! Should be a great Poole welcome home for Magic and Noddy! -

Depends which track specialist Lakeside get in for Nilsson?? Milik? -
They didn't get as far as the track then?! Seriously I hope the police get the so-and-so's!

Ryan Guest is 'credited' with the Ricky Wells interview podcast; and Dave Rowe with the Rosco interview.

How has he screwed up? He couldn't apply for the visa, with his UK club's endorsement, until the ban was over, which is why he flew back to OZ last weekend. Hardly his fault if the visa office is inundated with visa applications is it?!

King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

Buster's on the BSPA MC too!!! You'd have thought he'd have had some influence! So the 'good but very different track' had nothing to do with Buster then - all down to Big Red Ron? -
I would be surprised if the BSPA MC allowed a team at the top of the league to strengthen further when there are a few under strength sides crying out for improved riders!!!? I mean, in the best interest of EL speedway lets be sensible here!!

Its not a problem with any visa for Sweden. He is/was hoping to get his UK visa sorted for Friday and consequently booked a flight to the UK on Saturday. If that doesn't happen by Friday for some reason, his earliest flight back will not be until Monday which would not give him enough time to prepare effectively for Piraterna on Tuesday!!
-
Nobody is saying he's injured! Still carrying an injury maybe, but he's quit or 'left by mutual consent'. Either way Swindon have a 28-day minimum facility to use a guest until DW has sorted his UK visa. They had to get AM to agree to ride at Leicester so that his 8.21 average would appear again in the 1-7!!
-
I think the current EL format demonstrates that riders - especially heat leaders - need at least their equal-best equipment in the UK as they use in Poland/Sweden!!

Enjoyed the meeting on Sky last night and just about a fair result for both teams considering the absent riders and - as riders from both teams commented - "a track very different to normal!!". So well done to Sky's/GSI's Ronnie Russell (Meeting Co-ordinator) for getting the track prep sorted!!!! (I am right, aren't I, that it is him rather than the home track staff that are responsible for Sky meetings?! ) Anyway good to watch young Lambert improving all the time and Maciej not being affected by the GP this weekend.
