Good to see Walasek winning races in Poland today, so I assume he'll be back for Leicester asap?!

Every club has to submit their proposed team for away meetings a few days before, if only to get the match programme to the printers on time. It doesn't mean that they shouldn't wait to give their own fans the latest and most up-to-date team news possible. -
Not totally in agreement FB - Matt is talking about possibly one change, whereas you've been advocating dropping both Watt and North but not Gomolski!! We'll have to see........... In actual fact, Poole's top 2 were going to be Ward and Magic until the inevitable happened eventually!! Next year will be dependent on the points limit and whether Maciej wants to do EL ?!
-
Maybe that's why there wasn't a track inspection at heat 9??

For Monday meetings don't they usually wait til the Polish fixtures on Sunday have finished?! -

Was the extra hour due to some iffy presentation/announcing?? -
I think you must have misheard - he is still riding for Poole but simply in Swindon kevlars!!!
-
Just to add fuel to the fire, Matt was live on BBC Radio Solent's Sports show Saturday afternoon for over an hour. Amongst many other things he did say he was considering one possible change over the next couple of weeks as the team needed to score solidly both home and away. He is quoted as saying 'I am keeping an eye on the situation'!! (NB this is not a 'wind-up' - the show is available on BBC I-Player. MF joins the show just after 3 pm for over an hour.)
-
....and it doesn't end there if you look at the Scunthorpe website!! £200 fine for Tungate not sufficient apparently?!
-
Well its clearly not affecting Poole's attendances as MF stated on BBC Radio Solent yesterday (in an hour long interview) that attendances had been up in both of the last 2 years! Having said that I believe there should be a better deal for accompanied youngsters (whatever happened to 'kids for a quid'?) and also for the teenagers/early 20 somethings!
-
Wasn't he BSPA Vice Chair at the time? And didn't the SCB official approve the decision?! And didn't the SCB find there was no case for Poole to answer?! Unlike the Coventry situation in this case!!
-
Dak North's rolling average is currently 6.09 and Dave Watt is 6.12 with (I think) only Monday's away meeting at Wolves to count towards the August 1st figures. The current team total is 33.76 ie only 0.24 to play with if a rider with a higher average is being considered.
-
So have you got the clarification you were after about the GSI statement?! I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned it Starman or provided the link - but maybe its best for this thread not to go on for another 60 pages!!!!!
-
I'm not following your logic! Who do you drop to get Pawlicki in on 6.75 - even assuming Pawlicki wants to come over?! The only 2 riders higher than Pawlicki are Magic and Noddy!!
-
So how do you get Pawlicki on a 6.75 average?
-
'Darcy in Torun non-agreement shocker' - not!!!
-
Gorzow were being touted as his possible new club?! Oops Zielona Gora then!!
-
I wish all the people clamouring for changes would simply say which riders should be replaced and name the new riders and their averages!! Doing the sums with the team average to get them back under 34 points is a mathematical nightmare in itself when you change 2 or more riders at once. Currently Poole are 33.76 so not much leeway to play with. Incidentally, with THJ back riding in both Swedish leagues, Polish league and GPs - would he really want a UK place and wouldn't he be reassessed at 8 points anyway??
-
The statement says that there was full discussion - maybe the issue of ' the calling off of Sky meetings' has been clarified?. Lets wait until the Coventry promotion give their official statement of reply - as indicated on the bees website. I would assume the additional fine is in line with SCB penalties for 'rule-breaking' and was presumably known about before the hearing?!
-
Good on ya Darcy, another 5 pages - keep going mate!!
-
Matt won't sign any rider who costs or demands too much this season. He has to balance the books a bit after last year!!
