I think you must have misheard - he is still riding for Poole but simply in Swindon kevlars!!!
-
Well its clearly not affecting Poole's attendances as MF stated on BBC Radio Solent yesterday (in an hour long interview) that attendances had been up in both of the last 2 years! Having said that I believe there should be a better deal for accompanied youngsters (whatever happened to 'kids for a quid'?) and also for the teenagers/early 20 somethings!
-
Wasn't he BSPA Vice Chair at the time? And didn't the SCB official approve the decision?! And didn't the SCB find there was no case for Poole to answer?! Unlike the Coventry situation in this case!!
-
So have you got the clarification you were after about the GSI statement?! I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned it Starman or provided the link - but maybe its best for this thread not to go on for another 60 pages!!!!!
-
'Darcy in Torun non-agreement shocker' - not!!!
-
The statement says that there was full discussion - maybe the issue of ' the calling off of Sky meetings' has been clarified?. Lets wait until the Coventry promotion give their official statement of reply - as indicated on the bees website. I would assume the additional fine is in line with SCB penalties for 'rule-breaking' and was presumably known about before the hearing?!

Good on ya Darcy, another 5 pages - keep going mate!!

418 pages now Darcy - Well done son! Welcome back.

I see Wolves have changed their riding order (PK to 1.; Freddie to 5.) in order to rebuild Freddie's confidence!! Surely if that were the aim, he would be better riding at 3 for a while?! -
I sincerely hope that Jon Cook - after his year away from the MC - puts himself forward for the Chair position when Alex Harkess steps down in October. Maybe Matt Ford would agree to serve as his deputy and get rid of some of the old boys!!

Milik damaged his wrist when guesting for Lakeside at Poole last Wednesday - he came off the back when attempting a wheelie!! It was heavily strapped for the GP and was ok for his early heats but he tweaked it again. -

Any chance that the scores aren't mentioned on here until the Eurosport coverage is on?! -

As I've said on the meeting thread, I thought the Sky approach was a bit over the top. However, its good to hear riders of both teams say what a great influence he is both on track and in the pits - a real team man, as Poole fans know only too well! -

What you are seeing with Vaclav is what Pirate fans witnessed last year - injuries aside - he can be seemingly brilliant in one or two races and then totally out of his depth in others. Great to watch when he's on song though. -

So is it rearranged for Wednesday as rumoured? -
Well done to Swindon - the best team on the night. Both teams had their falls and their engine issues, but Swindon came out on top. If it had been a first leg play-off then an 8-point deficit would be acceptable. If Kyle Newman had been able to sort out his speed in the first half of the meeting as he did in the 2nd half then maybe it would have been closer. But similarly with Hans. But as with any meeting its all ifs and buts.....! It will be interesting to see how Swindon perform away from home now. PS. As a Poole and Darcy fan I thought the Sky coverage was just so over the top!!!!!!!

I did tell you that at the time!!
