  1. Well done to all those at KL that purchased the #DW43 wristbands. Rosco reports £400 raised (despite all the booing!!).
  2. Robert Lambert or any of the other Wolves riders would be the only likely guests!!
  3. Great bit of PR in advance of today's meeting - might even get a few more to attend and hiss and boo rather than watch on TV!!!! C'mon the Robins.
  4. Oxford Stadium will return. Swindon could start their 2016 fixtures there and then move into the new Swindon stadium in May/June!!
  5. I guess on this occasion that everyone involved should be grateful that the Bees promotion were contactable on a Saturday morning!! Wasn't that a reason/excuse last time?
  6. Its in Swindon's fixture list on their website as Sunday 11th October at 4pm.
  7. Agree with the first part but not the 2nd (ie tier 2) as that will simply de-value the EL product even further. The further development of decent young Brits simply has to include the PL clubs taking up the cause!!
  8. Where has it been stated that Newman has been diagnosed with 'concussion'?
  9. Dak will be fine - he's got his average down below 6 for next year now!!!
  10. Lets just say there appear to be some issues with some of the activities/fund raising in Poland!!! All official fund raising now has to have approval by either Mark Lemon and/or the Ward family. All the Torun stuff seems to have been done correctly and with the right approvals/agreements.
  11. Why wouldn't Doyle be an option for 2016? Doesn't he live in the Norwich area so very sensible for a number of reasons.
  12. As many have said this season, Sarjeant needs to calm down a lot if he is so brilliant at hating!! Well done on 2nd place.
  13. Totally agree - but they are the rules primarily for the clubs, riders and officials, made and approved by the clubs (BSPA) and officials(SCB). The fans and even the riders are actually secondary to any rule-making and interpretation. All I'm saying is that the clubs should be aware of any new rules and the intentions behind their introduction, so there should be no confusion for the clubs even though fan forums can still provide an opportunity for different interpretations.
  14. I understand that but it was the BSPA members that discussed it (presumably?) at the AGM before submitting the rules for approval (rubber-stamping) by SCB, so the BSPA members would have been aware of the intent.
  15. Yes but the rules are for the members of the BSPA ie the promoters!! so there should be no misunderstandings for them even if the fans can make their own interpretations!!
  16. Just to be correct - the appeal was to the ACU. The SCB made their decision and imposed the punishment for breaking the rules!
  17. I understand from someone connected to the SCB that the 'Play-off injury replacement' rule was intended for a rider getting injured just as the team go into the play-offs. It wasn't intended to be used for an injured rider for whom a 'replacement facility' in earlier league meetings had already been utilised!! However, intention is not always conveyed in the way the rule is written, even though the BSPA MC will be aware of the 'intention' and presumably take that into account when either approving or otherwise any signing or guest?!
  18. Due to rain on Monday following those Storm meetings so hope the track is a fair one for all.
  19. Surely no team in the play-offs can re-declare? They can only replace a rider (like for like) who is out for the rest of the season with injury!!
  20. Yes but Swindon is a much better journey for the final!! #DoItForDarcy
  21. I seem to recall Magic Janowski getting loads of stick earler this year when he rode in the GP with his knee injury but tweaked it again and couldn't ride at BV!!
  22. Scott Nicholls in for Kildemand; Doyle and Ostergaard in for NKI and Milik.
