I don't often post on the PL threads but as it was the only meeting on last night, I followed on 'updates' - mainly to check on Garrity's fitness if I'm honest! Well done Panthers.

I see Rosco has announced the 'end of season 'party for Saturday 10th October - the night before the End of Era meeting. £10 a head and all proceeds to Darcy Ward!! Great idea for the fund raising but I would have thought the party should be AFTER the meeting??!!!

Absolute BS. Why would riders publicly and privately thank Gerald Richter for his track prep if it wasn't true?! Admittedly a delivery of some new shale in June helped enormously nut it still has to be laid and prepared well! Even visiting riders have said its better now than it has been in several seasons - including some of those on the wrong end of a good home win!!

In the reports that came out from the 2014 BSPA AGM - at the same time as it was suggested that PL promoters 'might' agree to consider introducing a 'fast track' system of sorts themselves.

They can't build on it PoP! MF said in his recent BBC radio interview that there was a promoter already lined up to bring speedway back to Oxford - not sure at what level though!?

What about the 'at least one Brit as a second string' rule if confirmed?!

Oxford Stadium will return. Swindon could start their 2016 fixtures there and then move into the new Swindon stadium in May/June!!

Agree with the first part but not the 2nd (ie tier 2) as that will simply de-value the EL product even further. The further development of decent young Brits simply has to include the PL clubs taking up the cause!!

Sorry, I thought it was Mick Horton himself saying that Coventry had take a huge financial hit a few weeks ago and was asking fans to contribute to the club?! Correct me if I'm wrong but , if true, that would have the effect of making it difficult to pay a large amount up front for anything - let alone a decent rider not currently in the EL?! Wouldn't it?
