  1. What 'mould of Aussie users' are you referring to? ps. I think Tai will ride for Poole next year as MF has a major overhaul of his team!!
  2. But he did continue to ride - and clearly wasn't in the right frame of mind and told his manager after his 3rd '0', sought medical advice, got a medical certificate and was replaced within the rules by a guest with a lower average. Get over it , move on, nothing to see here. 'I and many others have never disputed that Kerr was badly injured. As I said the issue was whether Josh G could have and should have still rode...........' Not anti-Poole really.
  3. You win nothing in April-August - not even friends!!. Its September/October that usually counts for trophy winning - be it Poole or BV.
  4. The article in Speedway Star is by 'independent' Journalist Peter Oakes as part of the magazine's EL Play-Off Final preview. Peter Oakes has no specific connection with Poole Speedway to my knowledge - although he does admit to being a friend of the North family and 'aware of the full circumstances' of the accident.. The article includes......"Rod is still a long way from recovering from the accident. While it might not be life-threatening it was certainly life-changing and it came shortly after one of Dak's closest friends, Darcy Ward, saw his world turned upside down. Dak was all set to return home to Australia to be with his family and it was only at Rod's insistence that he remain in England. For those that have said if things were so bad, he should have flown home, I can assure them Dak would have done so had it not been for his father's express wish that he stayed here until the end of the season." Whilst some will undoubtedly claim that this is not proof - what else do people expect? His hospital records!!!? As for not being out with his mates - is he not supposed to celebrate Chris Holder's birthday yesterday?!
  5. Makes a bit of a joke of the Interview in this week's Speedway Star (repeated in the Daily Star), doesn't it?! I'd have thought that having settled in Norwich he would be looking to do a deal at the Adrian Flux Arena?!
  6. Is it Pancake Day again? I think I've spotted a tosser!
  7. Try reading this week's Speedway Star - unless of course you think Matt Ford owns that as well!!
  8. So Belle Vue - not exactly 'pure as the driven snow' in previous incidents - shouldn't have got a facility for Josh G then????? Or like MF merely operating within the rules!!
  9. I've asked this question before, but aside from the circumstances leading up to the certificate being different, why was Josh G given 'compassionate leave' based on a medical certificate after the Kerr crash?? Because his 'head wasn't straight and he was upset'! I suppose Matt Ford arranged that too??!
  10. No rider reaching the play-offs can be used by another team in the play-offs - its a rule (17.7.2 I think?!)
  11. No worries - Leicester are looking for a heat leader with no GP commitments and only a 2nd tier Polish squad place for next year!!
  12. Great. So healing physically is more important than healing psychologically?? In your world I guess I can see that logic!!
  13. With the number of Poole connections - 'Poole B' sounds good to me!!
  14. I had stopped reading and replying to your posts Gavan, but couldn't resist this time. Thanks for clarifying that you're not a fool with 2 or 3 accounts! That presumably just makes you a fool with one account?!
  15. I think you heard it well enough Lisa-Colette - its others that only hear what they want to hear!
  16. As I've said before, TR will have his finger on the pulse and doubtless has Oxford on standby as a temporary solution as required. Riders with visas will need to know that they have a job/contract before they leave these shores next month - so why would any sign a Robins contract if there wasn't some sort of guarantee?! Indeed why would Rosco sign riders up for 2016 without a track option?
  17. As a Poole fan of course I'd like Poole to win and do the 'treble' for Darcy. But if Belle Vue win thats also fair enough as they will have been the best team over 2 legs. Knowing Lemo and Josh G, if its BV then the win will be dedicated to Darcy anyway! #DW43 #GetWellDarcy
  18. I can't believe some on here. They ask for a clarifying statement. They get one and they choose not to believe it. Wherelse and from whom do they expect such a statement to come? Rod North has had an operation 4 times longer than Darcy Ward's but hey lets not worry that any members of his family or mates might be affected by it!! Jesus some people.
  19. Just for clarity - the new stadium is still for both Speedway and Greyhounds isn't it?
  20. Hope all the fines get paid otherwise no riders will be allowed to sign!!
  21. Update on Dak's father's accident in the B'mth Echo now. Those that want the link can find it easily enough
  22. Subject to his visa stipulations of course............!
  23. You beat me to it both of you!!!!!!!!???. 2 articles in the ECHO - Matt Ford's explanation and Davey (rightly) having a go at some of Coventry's so-called fans!!
  24. So after a great but very late night at Wimborne Road yesterday (and an even later morning!) I have finally managed to catch up on this thread. Well done to all the Bees fans that made the trip and a particular well done to Bomber and Hans for coming across at the end and shaking all the Pirates' hands!! I'm not going to go over all the vitriolic posts that have gone before, other than to say that I think the 'seething and disillusionment' expressed by the Bees Mangement before the meeting was simply down to the frustration of finding out that Matt Ford had already booked Eddie Kennett as a guest when they tried to make contact themselves! Some of the attacks on Dak's father's situation are simply unbelieveable and we shall have to await further post-operative information before any decision on whether a further medical certificate might be needed?! ( Incidentally, having a brother in the medical field, it is probable that the medical certificate for Dak contained 'depression' or 'anxiety' as the reason, and hence why Poole gave him compassionate leave. I believe Josh G's certificate contained a similar diagnosis after Kerr's crash.) Personally I would have given the Rider of the Night Award to either Watty or Ginger, but Darcy's message that it should go to Eddie Kennett was a classic response to Horton's earlier bs!! Well done to Lemo and the Aces (commiserations to Rosco and the Robins) - looking forward to 2 tough meetings next week ps. If mdmc2 is looking for a medical certificate to cover her 'repetitive strain injury', it can be arranged.
