  1. I only said that to give extra emphasis to 'changes in the riding order', after Barker's comments at Plymouth about rider changes. I had been told the Foord news as had a few others on the night, but sworn to secrecy. The deal had been done but had to be ratified and the official announcement made after the U.21s just in case he got injured!!
  2. Ipswich should use Zach Cook to guest for Dan Thompson. I'm sure he would be up for it!
  3. Only 2 Championship clubs voted against the reduced points limit - Poole and Glasgow - Fact.
  4. Wow a young rider in speedway has been replaced by another young rider in speedway! It's been happening for years in all teams. Moving on........
  5. No mention of the Covatti 'ban' in Plymouths meeting preview!!
  6. BSN said Kennett during the U.21 meeting yesterday.
  7. Should make a more than reasonable reserve pairing. 'The Eastbourne connection is strong in these two' - Dugard and Kennett advising.
  8. Maybe the results of today's U.21 meeting at Glasgow will give a clue???
  9. From some who were there last night it is just changes to the riding order with the Cook Bros reverting to 3 & 4 as last season plus TT back to 2.
  10. 'Unsatisfactory start' - All 4 back!! No issue with that.
  11. He did say in the pits interview that 'Pirates were making changes after tonite', but wasn't sure if it was public knowledge!!
  12. No facility for Newman then!! No wonder they didn't want to publicise the meeting too much!!
  13. If it wasn't for Poole's updates there would be no news at all. The Plymouth website still shows 'This week's meeting postponed!' referring to the May 25th postponement!!! You have to feel some sympathy for Gladiator fans.
  14. So, changes in the Pirates riding order for Saturday. As already reported Sam Hagon at 2 and Tobias Thomsen at 6. In addition Zach Cook at 3 and Tom Brennan at 4 in the 'engine room'. Still no news of the Plymouth changes........!?
  15. Depends if Plymouth pay the same (or more) than Poole??
  16. Not sure what facility they've got for Covatti? If it's his GSA plus 5% for a home meeting then Batch would fit.
  17. There is a lot of rain in Poland. Meetings being called off already. Ben's Leszno meeting today and Tom's Gdansk meeting on Saturday both now OFF!! UPDATE. TOM BRENNAN NOW BACK IN FOR POOLE - CONFIRMED.
  18. Where have you seen this? I thought I'd looked everywhere
  19. The Sunday fixture should be no issue for Tom's availability other than any prior commitment to travel. As stated earlier Tom is not listed in Gdansk's 1-7 for Saturday!! Personally I would be more concerned about Ben Cook who competes for Leszno on Friday evening , gets a flight back Saturday morning (hopefully) and then has to travel down to Plymouth!!! As others have said, it would be great to see an official meeting preview somewhere...........
