  1. Starke hasn't exactly done that well at Swindon - even though it'll be a different track. Lets not forget there may be many potential fixture clashes which would have seen Swindon having to use guests.
  2. So he's ridden longer in the EL than any of the other riders and doesn't have the same ambition as Garrity??!! Sorry I must have missed all Garrity's Polish and German meetings!! (ps Sorry Stars fans for these 'unrelated to Stars' posts)
  3. Not a new sponsor just the same 'ol same 'ol!!
  4. Surely all clubs have made their preferred selections and are just waiting for some riders to confirm their availability before the announcements are made eg Swindon.
  5. I don't think one of Kyle's main sponsors (who used to post a lot on here!!) will be very happy at the Newman/Ward connection!!!!? Still lets hope Kyle gets a big lift out of it.............!! :-) ;-)
  6. Newman using Darcy's machine next year!!! Its not its his 2014 PL average x 60% and rounded up to 3.00
  7. I expect Buster has more pressing issues than announcing a couple of reserves today, as they are all at the House of Commons hobknobbing with the Parliamentarians over the prawn sarnies and Asti Spumante!!
  8. Ellis and Newman for Poole - but query what averages are being used?!
  9. The Bees statement says they chose Sarjeant as their 'protected' rider
  10. I understand that. My question was in relation to what averages would be used for team building purposes, as Neil Watson rightly commented that Kyle has a current EL average? Surely no club will be able to use a mixture of EL and PL averages for the 2 reserve positions? Otherwise why would Neil Watson bother to post about Howarth's EL average?
  11. So how will Wolverhampton's team building average be calculated then, having named Howarth and Clegg at reserve??
  12. That was stated as an acceptable possibility in the BSPA statement following the AGM-Part 1.
  13. Where have you seen that stated?? And if true, how can he be a reserve?
  14. Stop stirring Gavan. Newman isn't an established EL 2nd string, so its not a direct comparison.
  15. Absolutely, after his first four meetings he could end up as Wolves no'1 on a 7 average!!!
  16. I have absolutely no issue with Kyle Howarth, whoever and wherever he rides, and hope he scores good points all season. The issue - if indeed there is one - is why he's on the 'Reserve list' (not sure what to call it now 'cos its not fast track and not a draft) when he has an established EL 2nd string average 0f 5.53 It is different to Newman - whether Poole have benefitted or not - as Newman only rode as a reserve last year and any supposed 2015 EL average is an inflated one. As I said no issue with either rider - just the logic of it all!!
  17. Presumably thinking Howarth will go into the 1-5 after 4 meetings and replace some new foreigner that CVS has up his sleeve?!
  18. Didn't Garrity state that he wouldn't be on the EDR list?!
  19. Garrity said he wasn't going on the list!!
  20. A good signing for Swindon and just checking fixture clashes and availability before announcing the 2nd reserve.
  21. next you'll be asking why an established EL 2nd string with an EL average of 5.53 can't be on the list and signed by Wolves???? Oh hang on - Kyle Howarth!!!!!!! PS. Congratulations Buster - I hope your many sleepless nights are kept to a minimum!!!
  22. I assume the term 'Fast Track' has now been forgotten as far as the reserves are now concerned??
  23. So the British Under 21 Champ - a regular EL 2nd string - with an established EL average of 5.53 is on the EDR list????!!!
  24. According to CVS in last week's Star - there is no guarantee that the heat leader list will be made public!! And why should it be, as long as the Promoters know and no rider is forced out of a job if they are either not on the list or are surplus to the 24.
