-
They may be heat leaders in the Coventry line-up but were they all on the BSPA HL list?? You don't know any more than anyone else!!

I was wondering what Terry Russell had been up to?! -
Having seen the latest photos of all the progress made with the new stadium (on the BV website), I think it looks absolutely terrific and every speedway fan, especially all those at BV, should applaud all those responsible for the scheme. Well done to all. Can't wait to see it for real.

2016 Elite League Heat Format
SteveLyric2 replied to KevH's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
All averages change after every 4 meetings and riding order changes, according to the averages, every 2 weeks, with the exception of the Tier 2 reserve who stays as a reserve all season. -
I thought Screeny had retired!!!!!
-
If people are of the opinion that Buzz should have been on the HL list due to his 2014 scoring, then by the same token Davey Watt should also be on the HL list as he spent the majority of 2014 as a Number 1!!!
-
You obviously care as you are once again on a Poole-related topic!! How Matt Ford - even with Wolves and Lakeside - can outvote the others, goodness only knows?! BTW calling another poster an idiot or a jumped up fool is commenting on the poster not the post and is against forum rules!! Hope you enjoy another holiday.
-
...and all signed within the rules and with the full agreement of all EL promoters!!
-
Have you not read the latest on the Poole website FB?! ps. Chris re-signs for Torun today!!
-
And what would be the problem with Garrity being and staying a heat leader?? If he's good enough he'll be ok - if he's not , then he won't!

Poland 2016 Season Extraleague News

Torun waiting til Monday for a reply from Greg Hancock!! Looks likely they will go without Jason Doyle, which might explain Darcy Ward's tweet that he is 'stoked' at Chris Holder's news!!!! -
Matt Ford says its 2 HLs from the list to be announced within the week - so it won't be Shamek as he didn't ride here this year. Just to emphasise, the HL list and its criteria has been agreed by ALL promoters. What the Poole announcement still does not clarify is whether Buzz will actually line-up as a Poole heat leader, due to his higher 2014 average than Hans' 2015 average or will Hans be the HL and Buzz the 2nd string? Either way Matt Ford has stolen the march on some of the other promoters, which probably explains why Mick Horton made the comments he is said to have made at the NSSC fans meeting.

He is pretty decent - I don't know why the Bees fans on here have such a downer on him??! But I guess its just because they are Bees fans!! ps. The very best of health to Havvy with his op this week. Lets hope it has some long term success.
-
According to Chris Harris in the Star this week, Bomber recommended him and advised Mick to get in quick because Poole were also considering him!!! (Don't shoot the messenger - I'm only repeating what it says in the SS!!)
-
Chris has cut his schedule - he's not doing the Aussie Championships!! He's done his 2 Aussie individual meetings after Melbourne before heading back to UK - where he'll take a break and re-group.
-
More experience and development for Poole asset Perks. Kyle will look after him!
-
If he's signed for Torun again then it means either Doyle will be leaving or Hancock has not been signed as they can only track 3 foreigners and have already secured Vaculik.
-
That's a bit sexist isn't it?!

2016 Elite League Heat Format
SteveLyric2 replied to KevH's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
8 year olds aren't bothered about averages!!! He just needs to know that the reserve has been scoring better than one of the other riders and will move up into the 1-5 In most sports the reserves get promoted into the first team if they are scoring well against other reserve teams. If the don't make it successfully, they go back to the reserves. Simples. I don't agree with the format - but lets not overcomplicate the reasons and explanations behind it. -
Its not as if its a new suggestion though is it?! Its been on the AGM table for 5 years at least - plenty of time for promoters to decide how it will work. I understood CVS's comments from his forum was that several more GP and European riders had been sounded out and thought it (not for the first time) a good idea. Clubs would just need to nominate and agree which 2 riders at the start of the season would share the Number 1 role. The rider with the higher average is what is used for team building or they are all graded the same?!. It wouldn't actually matter if one ended up doing more than half of the meetings if that suited both riders and the respective team.

You are assuming Garrity will be the lowest average of the 1-5 when the averages change - and that Sarjeant will have scored sufficiently well to go up?! As has now been clarified from the Wolves forum, its only the Tier 1 reserve that can go up, so the possibility of having Woryna or Garrity (or King??!) at reserve for a few meetings would surely suit Coventry.
