  1. I did say in an earlier post that Rosco had already made the selection and was just waiting for clarification on potential PL fixture clashes. One of the strongest - if not THE strongest - reserve pairings in the EL!!
  2. I'm surprised that Lambert has chosen a Sunday PL team rather than trying his luck in Poland?!
  3. There could well be at least 2 of them that aren't 'ex'-Poole!!!!
  4. One thing that may point to Cook is that one of his main sponsors is a regular Poole sponsor too!! Although I think it would be a big surprise if he did sign! I think the final 3 could well be 2 Aussies and a Pole!!
  5. Correct me if I'm wrong but Wolves 14 home EL fixtures in 2015 weren't all in the first 3 months of the season were they?? In which case there would/will be loads of spare Mondays!!
  6. You are talking out of your satchell!! The reserves WERE protected if their respective clubs chose to do so eg Newman, Sarjeant, Kerr, Auty etc.
  7. 'Trumpety Trump, trumpety trump'..............
  8. Newman 4.10 and Ellis 3.00 (0.60 higher than the 2015 EDRs!!)
  9. Buster is 'holding off' from naming his 1-7 at the moment as they haven't done deals with all the riders They've only spoken to NKI and Lambert but have several different teams on paper. (According to SS)
  10. Matt Ford on BBC radio this morning stated a new signing/asset is in the last stages of negotiation with his parent club and expect an announcement in the next few days. Also stated he was 'hopeful' of getting Chris Holder's signature again in a few weeks time!!
  11. Hans seems more than happy with his 2-year deal and a testimonial in 2017 at Poole!!
  12. Excellent piece of intelligent lateral thinking. You see what you can achieve without too much vinho?! Looks like you've got 2 already!!
  13. Many apologies Trees. I blame ScottyFan!!! Have a word with your chairman chappie and tell him to get his finger out!!!
  14. So I wonder who the other 2 'foreigners' will be for Torun - with Hancock also being rumoured?????
  15. I don't necessarily agree with all that you say. If the published averages (BSPA website) are not to be used - whether in an agreed HL list or not - whats the point of publishing the figures. Davey Watt (for example) has spent the vast majority of his recent EL career as an EL heat leader, as has Hans Andersen. If some sort of official figure is not used to differentiate between riders then it simply comes down to someone's opinion, as to who appears where on any list or not. Why should a fan's opinion be any more relevant than the promoters or some BSPA/SCB administrator - as long as it is agreed by all clubs before the team building begins? You will never get all fans to agree on everything - as this forum demonstrates in every thread every day!! The point is that the promoters have agreed such lists (with a maximum of 3 heat leaders from that list) and it is they that build the teams starting from the same position.
  16. So Buzz on 6.48 is a heat leader but Watt (if he is signed) is a second string??! Don't think so - but then I don't think it'll be Holder and Watt anyway. But would be happy if I'm wrong.
  17. King is on an identical average (6.48) to Poole's new heat leader Buzczkowski so Q.E.D. I guess?! Anything other than heat leader would just be cheating manipulating the rules wouldn't it??
  18. I think Kerr and Rose are the top 2 reserves, as they were in 2014.
  19. THJ is a Title winner with Poole and a Poole asset and on 5.69 (I think) he would be another steal!! He actually wanted to do a full season in 2014 but unfortunately didn't fit the numbers game at the time.
  20. Matt Ford states that Buzz will start as a heat leader and expects him to stay a heat leader! So with speculation from one or two that Brady Kurtz is a 'shoe-in' on 5.24, that leaves 15.23 for the final 2.
  21. Yes a 6.48 heat leader. The Readypower connection works again!!!!
  22. This season just gone the points limit was 40.5 with the 2 EDRs taking 6.5 of those points. In 2016 the points limit is still 40.5 but in many cases (including Poole) the reserves take up in excess of 7 points - so in real terms the points limit is reduced for the 1-5s!! And guess what, every team starts with the same opportunities. (EDIT: I see others have posted similar.)
