Sky are getting in early with KL - probably while NKI has agreed to ride until he quits to concentrate on his other priorities?! Sky have 5 sports channels plus F1, and no Champions League footie now so are not restricting themselves to Mondays for Speedway!!

Its in the Lakeside press release on their website. It would seem that the 'squad' rule wasn't included in the 2016 rules previously submitted to SCB for ratification. However clubs are aware of what has been agreed at last Tuesday's BSPA meeting and are allowed to utilise it for 2016 prior to it becoming (and possibly being tweaked?) for the 2017 season?!

Great to see Bjarne is still doing the Ben Fund meeting!!

Matt Ford's original proposal was for the No.8 to be an 'untried foreign rider' - in order to unearth some new talent for the future. What seems to have been agreed is that the rider needn't be 'foreign' and mustn't have ridden EL previously - which opens up all sorts of additional options,(certain Aussies spring immediately to mind) including not to have one at all!!!!

As I've said before, it'll be Wednesday/Thursday plus whatever day Sky want (maybe Mondays) for televised meetings!!!

Not too much about Poole in the past 10 days so here goes:- MF is not looking to utilise the Number 8 option to start with although there are 2 or 3 young foreign riders that he wants to watch as to their early season form! Poole P&P day on Monday 14th March starting at 1pm, with admission to invited audience (Media, Sponsors, Season Ticket holders) from 1230pm - And then open to the public from 3pm when track practice should start.​ Exclusive interview in Wednesday's Bournemouth Echo with Matt Ford, discussing his future and what his hopes are for the Pirates after he's stepped away - whenever that may be?!!! I imagine it will also be in this week's Speedy Star?! Should provide a few hundred pages on here for starters.................................................!!

So Eddie Kennett and Richard Lawson to share their position due to too many EL/PL fixture clashes early season??!! Have I missed that rule somewhere?

According to some national sports pages today, Kings Lynn could well be missing Troy Batchelor for some of the early season meetings after his operation on his broken arm!!!

Thought Lakeside signed Jonsson to cover any 2-5 absentees!!???

There were another 200 acceptances from BSF members who said one thing (that they were attending) and then did another (didn't go!!) :wink: Lets hope there is a fully comprehensive summary in this week's SS?! I'm sure there will be and I'm looking forward to reading it - along with (perhaps) what the next steps the BSPA will be making are.

I sympathise tsunami but often changes are announced with minimal explanation as to the reasons behind the change and no background as to what other options may have been considered?! As for the meeting today (which I did not/could not attend) it was said to be all about greater transparency, which I applaud . BTW any feedback from the meeting? There are already some on facebook who reckon it wasn't that well attended?!
