  1. Actually EIA that's not entirely correct. All we've had is an announcement after the first part of the AGM. We've had nothing else official after the 'cooling off' period and the AGM Part 2 - except for the confirmation of MC positions!! Other opinions have been taken from a variety of individual club statements - some of which appear contradictory - which would presuppose that some clubs have a different understanding of the proposed rules than others! I believe that what is or has been finally agreed by the BSPA is then submitted to the SCB for their approval and announcement, which usually comes around the end of November, no matter when the AGM is held.
  2. Totally different scenario. Matt Ford wouldn't accept it because it was a con - later admitted by Rosco - which caused a major falling out between them, which has now fortunately healed!
  3. My My what big airbags you have?? Full of the usual bull$#!t fumes!! Matt Ford is certainly way out in front of most promoters in many things - but certainly not the first to supply a doctor's certificate (as required by the rules) in support of a rider's absence!!
  4. Not sure Swindon would allow anyone else to speak to him about a contract?! Rules is rules don't you know?!
  5. Nice article on/by Martin Vaculik in the SS this week. Has a great friendship with Matt Ford and loves the Bournemouth area. Not interested in a full EL season because of all the travelling and staying in hotels. Could be interested in a short-term (March/April) contract?! Something for some to chew on........
  6. Well they are swimming in cash now aren't they?! (Thanks Matt!!)
  7. Of course he has - but that doesn't excuse the things he's done wrong!!!
  8. I think the article suggested that Cam's broken leg was not healing properly and he is unexpectedly having a further operation, so 2016 looks an impossibility.
  9. That appears to be what we have got anyway!!!
  10. Does his visa allow him to double -down!?
  11. I know this is always a topic of some discussion, but although I am a regular season ticket holder, I find it incredible that several clubs have already announced their prices/offers before they have even named their 7 riders!!! Thoughts......?
  12. It was stated in the Bournemouth Echo story this morning that 'he had no plans to double up next year - wishing to focus all his efforts on EL racing'!!
  13. You may well be right RP?! The version of the Buzz signing currently on the Poole website makes no mention of his heat leader or 2nd string status - but I'm not sure if its been changed?! Either way he wouldn't be on the so-called heat leader list and I can't honestly believe that the rules will allow any rider with a higher average to slot in as a 2nd string - at Poole or anywhere else!! Mind you, the SpeedwayGP story and the Echo story have only been written by 2 separate journos who probably don't know for sure - like most on this forum - themselves!!
  14. So with no GPs but with contracts in Poland and Sweden, would KK like alternate Mondays at Monmore??
  15. KK is 7.97 EDIT: Unless the powers that be reduce it as he hasn't ridden EL for a couple of years?! (Mind you if its reduced to 7.76 or below, then I would expect Poole to retain his services.)
  16. My post about Buzz being a heat leader was based on Matt's comments in this article - which was published as was the signing, AFTER the resumed AGM, when any/all outstanding issues re the rules and regs were presumably sorted?! The earlier BSPA statement only refers to clubs having a maximum of 3 riders from their Heat Leader list!! If for example, a club only selects 1 from that list, it doesn't mean they will only go with one heat leader - they will still have 3 (riding at 1,3 and 5) which will be determined by their listed averages, as will the 2nd strings. The only other published info from the BSPA is reference any new untried foreign riders (of heat leader standard?) who will be assessed at 6.50 and added to the BSPA list. (Although this did come out after Part 1 of the AGM and MAY have been changed in the AGM Part 2?! We don't know.
  17. Apologies BV fans. The 'discussion' originated over whether Dak North might be a BV target?!
  18. Ah so you are changing your stance to 'IF he is on the list'?! Of course you haven't seen a list - nobody other than the promoters has seen the list, which may have been altered at the BSPA AGM Part 2, for all anyone knows. What I'm saying is the only list available to fans is the final list of averages on the BSPA website in black and white end of discussion.
  19. 'Down as a heat leader'?? Where have you seen that official statement in black and white? If you want to be pedantic the final BSPA averages list have him as 5.91 2nd string!! You are correct in one thing - my earlier comment was purely my opinion based on watching him race every week - North is not a heat leader!
  20. Please show me and everyone else the rule!!! Or is it just your opinion?
  21. You are incorrect Gavan - get over it on another thread!!
  22. Buzz has to be a heat leader. His is the highest of the averages of the Poole riders signed so far - Buzz 6.48; Hans 6.45; Brady 5.24.
  23. I don't care what any list, riding position or the stats say - North is not yet a heat leader!! Trust me, having watched him in every home meeting this year, he is not yet a heat leader and would be a risk for any club having him as one in 2016.
