Its well past 0900 hours - any sign of a further statement yet?
Poole and Sky have confirmed the Aces v Pirates meeting originally scheduled for 30/3 is now arranged for 27th April 2016.
Meanwhile, back to the topic - Poole to win the EL (subject to injuries) with a well-balanced and well-thought out team which is well withing the rules!!
Its quite amazing what a modicum of intelligence, a solid business acumen, a strong will to win and some great foreign contacts can actually achieve isn't it?!
Gates open at 10.30 am for a 12 noon start.
I've posted this because some still thought it was a 1100 am start, (which was the original start time when everyone thought the return at Blunsdon would be the same day!!)
For info, the Aces v Wolves meeting on 25th March is now listed as 'TBC' on the BSPA website!!!
Not sure if the Aces v Pirates (30/3) meeting is still going ahead despite Sky appearing to have dropped it from their 'Live' schedules?!
So tell me how Garrity could otherwise score 14 points from a 2nd string position - unless in the extremely unlikely case a 2nd string is given a T/S ride?!
The point was/is if Kyle Newman gets into the 1-5 and has a Plymouth fixture clash with a rearranged Poole fixture, would a Poole Number 8 (assessed 4 pointer yet to be signed) be able to be used to replace him?
It would probably never happen as Poole would almost certainly use r/r, but what would the rules allow?
