  1. Surely that means 'the one with the highest starting MA in the original list' - as was announced in the earlier BSPA statement and means the Tier 1 EDR?!
  2. So its not anti Ford or anti Poole yet you choose to make your anti Elite comments on a Poole thread. Let me just check the Lakeside v Kings Lynn thread after the 56-36 'hammering' on Friday for any similar comments?! Oh guess what - not a sign of anything similar nor any threads started by you about the EL and 'how bad you believe it to be'?! ps. I hope you enjoyed the Ippo v Scunny meeting!
  3. Tier 1 and tier 2 reserves can ride at either 6 or 7 (Team Manager's choice) - as happened in the Elite shield meeting with Newman and Bates both riding at 7. Only the Tier 1 reserve can qualify for the 1-5 if averages allow after every 4 meetings.
  4. Dave Watt confirmed in interview at Poole yesterday that the commentary will be in English! www.clayperview.com Davey's girlfiriend, Joanna, works at the Torun club and has been fully involved with this initiative with the full backing of Torun.
  5. You will also know then how upset Mark Loram was with Norrie that he didn't allow a deal to be done!!
  6. Do leave off with your uninformed clap-trap gavan. There was some superb racing and passing despite the one-sided scoreline. Bumper sunshine crowd, bumpy first turn but only one Swindon heat advantage.
  7. Helluva foul-mouthed bust up in the pits at the end between Rosco and Morris. Maybe the kid should get some sleep instead of playing games on his computer half the night/morning - or so I was told!!!!
  8. Poole: Holder; Kurtz; Watt; Andersen; Buzckowski; Ellis; Newman. Swindon: Doyle; Sedgman; Graszjonek; Tungate; Morris; Wright; Neilsen
  9. He's just gotta hope that he's in one of the teams that qualify are invited for it?!
  10. Not certain but all/most Polish clubs film their own meetings so I guess it will be a stream of this. (It won't be Davey doing the streaming personally as he's in the meeting)
  11. To be honest Doyley doesn't always have decent meetings at Poole. Similar to Chris Holder who doesn't always have the best of meetings at Blunsdon. I think it will be a lot closer than some believe.
  12. I think you'll find that Sky still intend to show it live on 27th Aprils - it was included in the Sky tweet giving the first few live meetings.
  13. Also on Monday 28th March at 3pm GMT Torun are staging their Darcy Ward Benefit meeting with a host of top GP stars. The meeting is being streamed on a pay-per-view basis on www.clayperview.com with a cost of approx. £6. All proceeds to the DW Foundation.
  14. Davey Watt is instrumental in arranging for the Darcy Ward meeting at Torun on Monday 28th to be streamed at an equivalent cost of around £6 - all proceeds to the Darcy Ward Foundation. He states - in the local Echo today - that its the first of several things he and others are working on. Edit: www.clayperview.com www.bournemouthecho.co.uk
  15. Its well past 0900 hours - any sign of a further statement yet? Poole and Sky have confirmed the Aces v Pirates meeting originally scheduled for 30/3 is now arranged for 27th April 2016.
  16. Its not a hole - its a bump where the hole was filled in.
  17. Poole haven't got a hole on the first bend - its been filled with bricks and covered over. Not sure where the bricks came from?!
  18. Meanwhile, back to the topic - Poole to win the EL (subject to injuries) with a well-balanced and well-thought out team which is well withing the rules!!
  19. Its quite amazing what a modicum of intelligence, a solid business acumen, a strong will to win and some great foreign contacts can actually achieve isn't it?!
  20. 68-24 is a bit ambitious especially as we don't yet know if Chris Holder is over his illness?
  21. I wasn't sure how long it would take for Poole to be accused as being at fault?!
  22. I clicked on this thread with a certain trepidation having read the statement (and many comments - including some from past promoters!) on Facebook. As far as the statement goes, I feel it could have been much better worded and thought-through. For any association to totally blame one of its members and not offer its support and assistance in attempting to sort things out is not on - wherever the faults lay. As Phil the Ace says above, if the event had gone ahead without any problems, the BSPA would have been applauding one of their member clubs and be standing alongside them for all the congrats. As sorry as I feel for everyone that was there, I feel particularly sad for all the Aces fans.
  23. Sunny to start and then overcast later - a bit like Rosco will be on Friday!! :-)
