Not certain but all/most Polish clubs film their own meetings so I guess it will be a stream of this. (It won't be Davey doing the streaming personally as he's in the meeting) -

To be honest Doyley doesn't always have decent meetings at Poole. Similar to Chris Holder who doesn't always have the best of meetings at Blunsdon. I think it will be a lot closer than some believe. -
I think you'll find that Sky still intend to show it live on 27th Aprils - it was included in the Sky tweet giving the first few live meetings.

Davey Watt is instrumental in arranging for the Darcy Ward meeting at Torun on Monday 28th to be streamed at an equivalent cost of around £6 - all proceeds to the Darcy Ward Foundation. He states - in the local Echo today - that its the first of several things he and others are working on. Edit: www.clayperview.com www.bournemouthecho.co.uk -

BV v Poole now 27th April - still live on Sky. -
Its well past 0900 hours - any sign of a further statement yet? Poole and Sky have confirmed the Aces v Pirates meeting originally scheduled for 30/3 is now arranged for 27th April 2016.
-
Its not a hole - its a bump where the hole was filled in.
-
Poole haven't got a hole on the first bend - its been filled with bricks and covered over. Not sure where the bricks came from?!
-
Meanwhile, back to the topic - Poole to win the EL (subject to injuries) with a well-balanced and well-thought out team which is well withing the rules!!
-
Its quite amazing what a modicum of intelligence, a solid business acumen, a strong will to win and some great foreign contacts can actually achieve isn't it?!

68-24 is a bit ambitious especially as we don't yet know if Chris Holder is over his illness? -

I wasn't sure how long it would take for Poole to be accused as being at fault?! -
Sgb Statement
SteveLyric2 replied to BuxtonTiger's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I clicked on this thread with a certain trepidation having read the statement (and many comments - including some from past promoters!) on Facebook. As far as the statement goes, I feel it could have been much better worded and thought-through. For any association to totally blame one of its members and not offer its support and assistance in attempting to sort things out is not on - wherever the faults lay. As Phil the Ace says above, if the event had gone ahead without any problems, the BSPA would have been applauding one of their member clubs and be standing alongside them for all the congrats. As sorry as I feel for everyone that was there, I feel particularly sad for all the Aces fans. -

Gates open at 10.30 am for a 12 noon start. I've posted this because some still thought it was a 1100 am start, (which was the original start time when everyone thought the return at Blunsdon would be the same day!!) -

You really do rate him that highly then!! (That's a statement not a question.) :-) -
I always agree to meet people in the bar when I go to speedway!!
-
For info, the Aces v Wolves meeting on 25th March is now listed as 'TBC' on the BSPA website!!! Not sure if the Aces v Pirates (30/3) meeting is still going ahead despite Sky appearing to have dropped it from their 'Live' schedules?!
-
Not at the moment it ccan't!!!

So tell me how Garrity could otherwise score 14 points from a 2nd string position - unless in the extremely unlikely case a 2nd string is given a T/S ride?! -

Why? Who's missing? -
I would imagine there is a big risk that ALL meetings will be off the Sky schedule.
-
Not going to point a finger at anyone - just feel sad and sorry for all concerned - and hope the track can 'bed in' within the next 10 days.

I think it was Bomber who tried to explain that the ruts made the track rideable but too dangerous to be raceable!
