  1. The 'latest' list on the BSPA website is only up to 31.03.16. So the latest list in reality - which has been circulated to all clubs - is just not in the public domain yet! It is a BH for goodness sake!! In any case Newman's EDR average must put him higher in the list than Kerr - or any other EDR for that matter!! With other meetings on today Kerr must be the best option
  2. Chris Harris would probably beat them both!! Whats your point? :-)
  3. Well if today doesn't go ahead for any reason, as some have suggested, then Poole will not get a facility for Bjarne on Wednesday - as he won't have ridden yet!! If it does go ahead then on Wednesday, Bjarne's (6.55) r/r rides can be taken by Chris Holder (7.17); Buzz (6.48) and Kurtz (5.24) x2. (Ellis 8.00; Andersen 7.33 and Newman 7.24 - if fit - would not be eligible for r/r rides). That's based on today's averages not sure if they change again for Wednesday after tonight's scores?! NB. Newman admitted to hospital again so will miss tonight - replaced by Kerr (presumably from the updated EDR list not yet available to the fans?!)
  4. Who do they pay rent to? The people responsible for not completing the stadium on time? Doubt they've parted with a penny in rent yet - and rightly so.
  5. Bjarne missing his home debut in the return on Wednesday!! r/r
  6. If Hans had finished on 9 point average, he would have been happy and Coventry would have held onto him. Poole would then have probably signed KK.
  7. Great result for Debbie and Garry's boys, but I expect it was another of those boring one-sided meetings that 'you don't get in the PL', eh Gav??! Well done the Rebels, terrific result!!
  8. Not sure that you are 100% on your 'facts' Gav as I don't believe Sweden pay more than the EL now - even assuming they actually do pay what they contract to pay??! Does Woffy also ride in Denmark does anyone know?
  9. That's why I think the decision to call it off was made earlier than the TV made out - as Buzz tweeted - and then Sky could announce it 'live', showing some recorded footage of track inspections, rider discussions etc
  10. Kyle and Middlo are both doubtful about Kyle's fitness for Monday
  11. ...and still lives in this country apparently so still has all the cost and aggro of flying backwards/forwards and between the various countries!!
  12. So Paul Starke would or would not be eligible then, as he's lower than Kyle Newman on the EL list (Tier 2) and back as a EDR from Monday and lower than Kyle on the PL averages too??
  13. EL rolling averages are calculated using the last 20 meetings from 2015 and 2016. As each extra meeting is ridden, one is dropped off ie when meeting 21 is ridden, meeting 1 score is deleted and the rolling average adjusted. Issue 9 is now available on BSPA website - although not without one or two errors. eg. the EDR list is still stated as only up to 31.03.16!!!!??
  14. Does Woffy still live here in the UK - or is he now based abroad somewhere? Serious question.
  15. I thought the AGM was in 2 parts - with a couple of weeks in between - so that promoters could have time to consider all the proposals and correct any anomalies before approving or changing them. That's certainly what happened with the EDR ruling.........
  16. That was last year.. Haven't heard any bleating this season so far!!
  17. With all due respect to Davey Watt, I don't think he's going to be any good to any team until his 'off-track' stuff is sorted - it certainly won't be by 1st May but whether it is by May 18th, who knows?
  18. What if the tweet by Buzz - about an hour before anything official - that it was off, was spot on. Any 'official' decision was then deferred until Sky went 'live' and they could praise all the hard work that had gone on and show the (pre-recorded?) interviews and rider discussions to make it seem that it was all a last minute decision?! Cynical? or what..........?? ;-) ps. Didn't someone on Sky say there was not enough dry shale available?! I thought that was exactly what Buster accused Poole of in the 2014 play-offs?! Double standards??
  19. If the track is at all dodgy then expect a couple of bouts of GP-itis creeping in!!
  20. Yes fair point SCB, but I'm sure there could have been another 'add-on' ruling - as Starke's really only a Tier 2 EDR!!! ;-)
  21. The thing is if Watt had stayed and ridden at Kings Lynn tonight with his current scoring, then his 6.80 average from Monday may well have dropped below Bjarne's average - thereby stopping the switch from taking place?!
  22. I have 2 queries over this..... Is it the Danes or the Aussies that prefer wet tracks? Why have Poole gone for Bates? Surely Starke (with his main team EL experience) would have been a better bet and with a greater affinity to the team?!
  23. He'll have the highest average for a week or so but won't be riding at 1. With Buzz and Bjarne as 2nd strings it shouldn't make too much difference to overall results (he says with a deep gulp!! ) Much more of a worry is how long Kyle will be missing??
  24. The BSPA MC have decided that as Robson has an EL average from 2014/15 (even though no EL place this season), they have blocked the move even though the rule to allow a 6pt PL rider is correct!!!?? Josh Bates steps in for Wednesday New averages (Issue 8 today) are now an the BSPA website and give the new averages mostly for commencement Monday 2nd May. This should see Ellis go into the 1-5 in place of Kurtz who will drop to reserve. Ellis, Holder and Andersen should be heat leaders (ie. 1,3 & 5) with Bjarne and Buzz as 2nd strings - at least for the Wolves meetings!!
