Have to agree in part. Only one Wolves rider tackled one end of the main stand. 3 riders (2 Poole and 1 Wolves ) wandered along the front of the stand but didn't venture into it. Most disappointing. But it doesn't stop fans from donating direct to SRBF - if they have any spare cash after giving to the Darcy fund!!?

Sensible for Sky choosing the 12th. They can probably leave some of their equipment there set up for the play-offs!! ;-)

Both BV v Poole meetings now in the schedule. Bank Holiday Monday and Monday 12th September - the latter on Sky I understand!!?

Wasn't it said that there was some new shale put on the track which didn't bind in as expected - thats why there were specific issues in the early heats upto the re-grade after heat 4 and why some ruts appeared later.

Poole's track has been great since the Belle Vue home defeat. It was repaired the day after and has been well prepared since - aside from one very dusty occasion in the middle of our hot summer last month!!

£10. nb. Poole's declared alternative race night for rain-offs has always been Thursday!!!

Best meeting of the season so far imo. Holder, Newman (at 2) and Ellis - superb. Impressed with Lindgren, looking back to almost his best; and Masters From Monday next Newman drops back to reserve with Ellis going to 2nd string.

Schlein is usually ok at Poole - while JK hates the place, so Wolves a bit stronger imo!! MF still awaiting clearance from BSPA and SCB before confirming Bjarne's replacement - presumably to confirm that Poole do actually get a facility?!

So also Poole seeking a replacement for this meeting at reserve now. Anyone lower than 5.31.

All thoughts are with Bjarne now. Back in Denmark with the family. RIP Mrs P. I wonder if Charles Wright will be allowed tonight??

What on earth are you going on about?? 4 weeks to go to what? The end of August!! The cut-off date for the completion of league meetings is September 16th. Assuming no more rain-offs Poole have all their home meetings scheduled up to September 7th - with spare dates if necessary. Any outstanding away fixtures are down to the staging clubs to sort out!!

Season tickets already represent a discount!!

Should make it interesting for Mum and Dad Kurtz if they are still over here!!

There was some talk about trying to rearrange on Thursday subject to rider availability. No announcement yet though.

I didn't say I didn't rate him. Read my post, I said he would not get my respect as Brit U21 champ until he cleaned up his act!! My opinion of some of Darcy's (and other riders') off track stuff created a similar stance, but Darcy cleaned up his act big time before his tragic accident and since.

Not sure why Bates is even being discussed on a Poole thread?! When the odious, potty-mouthed, selfie toerag grows up a bit then he may earn some respect for being British U.21 champ. For a professional attitude in his racing and off-track approach, Ellis is way out in front - but its only my opinion. ;-)

Heavy rain forecast in Poole too. Maybe they'll switch to Poole's meeting with Wolves on Wednesday which should be a cracker plus Darcy being there too!!
