Matt said the final signing would be announced this coming week. AFC Bournemouth have a home match Tuesday night and a home derby match v Saints on Sunday, both of which will feature extensively on local media, so it'll be an interesting choice for the day of announcement!!?
-
So which league is NKI dropping? Poland or Sweden? Or is he just standing up to the Poles' new rules?
-
I thought Buster Chapman was taking over the promotional reins at Leicester?! the ongoing negotiations - aside from the financial debt situation - is likely to be about the level of control the promotion will have over some of the stadium facilities owned by DH!! Not least the track and any alterations the new promotion may wish to make which may go against DH's own opinions or wishes?!

Spot on Nellie!! :-)

CFS will continue to sponsor individual riders - not just at Poole - Newman, Starke and Cook amongst them. Being based over Fareham way in Hampshire I gather they are giving club sponsorship to the IOW!! The falling out was due to what went on at a CFS- sponsored meeting and some 'slagging off' afterwards on social media.

I guess it depends on how desperate for the cash Somerset were at the time of the sale?!

Having a 'senior' league structure is a requirement of Sky, but I gather the name change hasn't gone down too well at Sky Towers, so it'll be interesting to see how keen Sky are by the time 2018 comes around. I would think that with all the major track changes taking place at Ipswich they would want at least one season to get used to them !! -
Finger on the pulse there Oldtimer!!!

What prices are those to which you refer?

MF is hardly the first to mention about NKI. There was a huge interview/article in the SS a couple of weeks ago when Neils said it all himself. Also it has been fairly obvious once he signed up in 3 other countries!! -

Chris Louis has stated the Ippo side has been put together specifically to win the Championship so that they can operate at the top level in 2018. -

Interesting that Matt did mention the likes of NKI and AJ not being able to ride Premiership but did not specifically mention Chris Holder.!! -
Well if the capacity+ crowd at last night's quiz night is anything to go by I can't see much of a drop in meeting attendances - despite as Matt said the amount of negativity whenever there is a change. Great quiz too - with worthy winners who led the 19 teams and won the play-offs too!!! :-) :-) ps. Final rider will be confirmed and announced next week - according to MF on BBC Radio this morning.

Brief positive(ish) statement on SpeedwayGB twitter today

3 wise monkeys and their Ipswich stalker!!! Apologies Robins fans.
-
Hasn't Buster been away on hols?! Should think he deserves at least a short break after all the sorting out he's involved in!!
-
Drawing the raffle as usual!!!! :-)

Just sharing what it says in the paper!!

Welcome to the Poole asset base - Charles Wright!! and before anyone jumps in and tells me I'm wrong - its in today's Echo (alongside the Darcy article)!!
-
Good to hear that Charles Wright has recently become a Poole Asset!! :-)
-
Thought Klindt made it clear that he'd prefer not to race at Wolves - which is why CVS didn't try to persuade him.
-
No body knows officially!! Just surmising from many.....
-
So the sixth rider announced tomorrow as expected - With James Shanes and Nicolai Klindt also in attendance. Should be another good evening.

Not far out was I?? But a good team assembled within their budget so good news for sustainable Speedway in Somerset.
