  1. Maybe the results of today's U.21 meeting at Glasgow will give a clue???
  2. From some who were there last night it is just changes to the riding order with the Cook Bros reverting to 3 & 4 as last season plus TT back to 2.
  3. 'Unsatisfactory start' - All 4 back!! No issue with that.
  4. He did say in the pits interview that 'Pirates were making changes after tonite', but wasn't sure if it was public knowledge!!
  5. No facility for Newman then!! No wonder they didn't want to publicise the meeting too much!!
  6. If it wasn't for Poole's updates there would be no news at all. The Plymouth website still shows 'This week's meeting postponed!' referring to the May 25th postponement!!! You have to feel some sympathy for Gladiator fans.
  7. So, changes in the Pirates riding order for Saturday. As already reported Sam Hagon at 2 and Tobias Thomsen at 6. In addition Zach Cook at 3 and Tom Brennan at 4 in the 'engine room'. Still no news of the Plymouth changes........!?
  8. Depends if Plymouth pay the same (or more) than Poole??
  9. Not sure what facility they've got for Covatti? If it's his GSA plus 5% for a home meeting then Batch would fit.
  10. There is a lot of rain in Poland. Meetings being called off already. Ben's Leszno meeting today and Tom's Gdansk meeting on Saturday both now OFF!! UPDATE. TOM BRENNAN NOW BACK IN FOR POOLE - CONFIRMED.
  11. Where have you seen this? I thought I'd looked everywhere
  12. The Sunday fixture should be no issue for Tom's availability other than any prior commitment to travel. As stated earlier Tom is not listed in Gdansk's 1-7 for Saturday!! Personally I would be more concerned about Ben Cook who competes for Leszno on Friday evening , gets a flight back Saturday morning (hopefully) and then has to travel down to Plymouth!!! As others have said, it would be great to see an official meeting preview somewhere...........
  13. Yes the Poole A&E is still fully functioning whilst Bournemouth hospital is revamped and enlarged for 2025. Even then Poole Hospital will have a 24 hour Emergency unit - albeit smaller than currently.
  14. If only every speedway club had full control over their track and stadium!!
  15. Neither are the bar prices! The only income to the speedway club is from admissions, programme sales and advertising, banner ads and sponsorship.
  16. Cook was only ever a temporary injury cover for Kerr, so as soon as Kerr was fit again, Cook became a 'free agent'!
  17. Kerr back for Oxford Spires in Premiership. Craig Cook completes his 28 day cover and moves to Leicester, replacing Drew Kemp at reserve?!!! Not sure what any of that means for the Pirates v Bandits fixture, but hey ho!!
  18. Unless he gets his actual GSA after Berwick on Wednesday and it's higher than Sam's 4.33?
  19. So getting back on track.....with the new June averages now out Poole will have a slightly different riding order at Plymouth. Although its possible Tobias may get his actual average after Wednesday's home meeting v Berwick? If so, I'm not sure when it will become effective.
  20. As long as track prep and weather are similar to last couple of weeks then I can't see the Bandits getting close 54-36
  21. 58 points from 6 riders! Not bad tonight. Can't understand how IRR was able to be used for Covatti? Clearly not fit to race yet as he inferred in interview - stretched his stitches and couldn't turn the bike easily. Maybe it's Plymouth merely getting the sympathy vote?!
