A team of entertainers - lets hope all their machinery is up to scratch?!
-
Any hint from Sedgy last night as to if he has a team place anywhere at Belle Vue?!
-
Tireless!! Keep an eye on the fixture list. I gather here might be a 'non-Poole' meeting confirmed?!
-
Apparantly there could be a couple overlooking the pits area at Blunsdon??! ;-)
-
I wonder if he got paid for them?!
-
Not sure about 'effortless' but great acknowledgement nevertheless - as well as the pic on the website. Centre green presenter Nij also mentioned as one of the committee, as well as presenting the REF quiznights through the winter months - the next one of which is Wednesday 15th February!!

Neither would Bjarne!!!

Speedway And The National Press
SteveLyric2 replied to Skid Sprocket's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The Sun usually print the daily fixtures and results during the season as does the Mail. Respected speedway Journos like Peter Oakes and the Lannings (and probably others too) also manage to get regular 'snippet' news in. -
Not Poole. Final tickets were available - especially after buying all those bricks!!

Thanks.

Uncertainty Over Teams And Sky Tv
SteveLyric2 replied to Nobblytriers's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It must be different at various clubs. At Poole there is usually a camera position at the end of the back straight (Bend 3) at the start of the home straight (Bend 4), by the start line, above the main grandstand, plus others. The 'studio' is on the 1st Bend. Viewers can often see the packed grandstand from the Bend 3 and startline cameras -
So with the MCC funding the NSS project, does that actually mean the people of Manchester ie the residents/rate payers actually paid for it and own it? If so I didn't realise that rents and rates were so high?! OR did MCC manage to acquire funding from Europe and/or the Saudis to make it happen?!

Try not to be confused Gav. Youv'e made the point - which you are entitled to do - several times. I'm merely saying that we get it and you don't need to repeat it again.
-
Kacper is a good signing and can be a real showman and crowd pleaser. He was excellent as a 2nd string in the 2015 format, but did struggle a little as a heat leader. Good luck to him.
-
Gavan has spoken and given his opinion (again) so hopefully he won't need to keep repeating it!! ;-) We get it Gav we really do get it!!!!!
-
49.63 but Brady now says he will definitely be fit!! :-)
-
I'm not sure Milik can do a full season due to other commitments. Thats why there have been several 'volunteers' for the early part of the season if needed.
-
Nice statement by Rosco on his Twitter/Facebook pages reassuring fans. This alongside Mike Bowden's comments in the Star that the existing Abbey will continue to be available for as long as maybe required. No 'new' statement about the new track because there's nothing 'new' to report!! When there is, a statement will be made. Edited: Apologies I hadn't seen this already on the 'Swindon Stadium' thread!!
-
Well its now February so Gordon Pairman should be back in the country now (or soon)!! ;-)
-
The danger with any temporary replacement from the start of the season is what will happen after the first set of revised averages?! If, say Milik on 7.94 does reasonably well but still drops below Brady's 7.65 with the first new averages then it would be difficult to bring Brady back in wouldn't it?!
-
In the Star this week, MF names the likes of Kasper Gomolski, Vaclav Milik and Justin Sedgman as 'possibles' - if he had to make a decision today?!
-
On the Coventry website Baz - as this is a Coventry thread!! Only involving Kings Lynn and Somerset so far
-
MF quoted today that several riders have offered their services to cover for Brady - if needed?!
-
I see some of the fixtures changes have begun to be announced!!

Your 2017 Prem Winners.
SteveLyric2 replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wow a thread that mentions Poole and Gavan's straight in like a rat up a drainpipe!!!! Surprise surprise. Poole, Wolves, Rye House and Kings Lynn in the play offs. Poole and Wolves to reach the final. (subject to injuries!)
