...as long as there is someone to buy??!!
-
Correct. Doyley had a bit of a strop (when he was nursing his injured shoulder) and said he would never race for Poole again so MF and TR agreed a swap deal - Doyle for Janowski!
-
It'll be good to see Suzy Perry again!!!! ;-)
-
Fixture update Wolves v Pirates moved from June 5th to Bank Holiday Monday 29th May!! Should make for a bumper crowd.
-
Great!!
-
Nope. All confirmed now. Its 18 meetings including play-offs on BT Sport!!
-
BT Sport should be 'champing at the bit' to snap up speedway coverage - after spending £1.2 billion (yes billion) for the Champions League footie rights through to 2021 - including streaming them on You-tube!!
-
Unfortunate wording in the official press release AORLOV, particularly in the current situation - 'Press day delayed due to lack of stadium availability!!' ??

Middlo hasn't finished the Poole rule book for 2017 yet!! There's another couple of weeks to go yet. :-) -
There hasn't - other than someone posting that Bill Glass (Swindon Stadium GM) had been spotted looking at the Oxford site! No way of knowing if that's true or not unless you happen to be Bill Glass!! If I've understood the Oxford Mail story correctly, it is a consortium of fans and business men who are in talks with the Council about forming a 'Social Enterprise' to bring back Speedway and Greyhounds. I may be wrong but I believe a 'Social Enterprise' has to be run on a sound business footing (ie with an acceptable and approved Business Plan) but can also be a 'not-for-profit' or 'charitable' trust set-up.
-
I'm sure having a big screen will attract many more new fans - happy to pay their £17/£18 to watch every heat twice!! Can't see a downside at all really. ;-)
-
With yesterday's Oxford Mail article that there is a group seeking to set up a 'Social Enterprise' with Oxford Council for Speedway and Greyhounds to return to Oxford Stadium, then I guess its no surprise to learn that Bill Glass might be looking at the Oxford facility, no matter what may happen at Blunsdon in the future!!

I disagree with that if its a regular (Sunday) Polish fixture. If its a rearranged Polish fixture clashing with a midweek British meeting then yes - no facility. I'm still not sure how it will effect the younger Holder (Jack) with his Peterboro/Poole contracts and his Torun deal alongside his brother?! (I did hear a whisper that Panthers management were refusing to sign the required paperwork to release him!!) -
So Kenny Bjerre says had had a choice between Coventry or Poole for this coming season. It was 50/50 but he chose Coventry because it was closer to his UK home! Phew!! Hope he gets fixed up somewhere............?!
-
Yeah a load of old Red Bull!!
-
Update in today's Oxford Mail which sounds a lot more positive!!! Forming a 'Social Enterprise' with Oxford Council to bring back speedway and greyhounds (and presumably anything else that the facility could cope with)?! Rumours from the Swindon thread that Stadia UK's greyhound stadium manager Bill Glass has been spotted looking at the Oxford facilities??!!
-
So how does it work with Nigel and Kelvin on Sky Sports and the GPs for BSI on BT Sport?!
-
The commentators are 'freelance' so will undoubtedly be available to whoever wants them!!? So will it be You-tube, Amazon or Netflix? ;-)
-
Is he helping to repair the pits wall?? lol ;-)
-
According to his article in the Star which has been written since Sunday - its not Bjerre!!!

P&P day put back to 29th March due to loss of the Bees meetings. -
Rules were published yesterday 1st March on www.scbgb.co.uk
-
42 points confirmed in the SCB rules and regs - but nothing specific about individual rider averages without a starting team place!!! (All open to BSPA assessment I guess?!) ;-)
