  1. Not sure that Poole complete 4 qualifying home league meetings til 7th June, Baz.
  2. 10+2 from 6 rides in Poland - but his team Rzeszow still lost 56-34.
  3. Yes 42 points is mentioned in the Team Composition section of the rules - which begs the question what was Colin Pratt referring to in the Star?? (maybe its just senility setting in??) It also states that if a team wishes to re-declare, then any rider who has not completed the 4H/4A can have their CMA re-assessed based on actual meetings ridden to date.
  4. Where can I find a list of the Danish teams/riders?
  5. I'm not disagreeing Najjer - only using Poole as an example 'cos theirs are the on ly current averages I've looked at. I think the BSPA person responsible for setting the new team average (as stated by Colin Pratt in the Star 2 weeks ago!) will probably take the average of all the 8 Premiership teams' current team averages once the 4Home/4Away have been ridden, ie taking the actual averages of the teams using this season's race format. Then it'll just be a matter of clarifying what averages any 'unused' riders will come in on. We already know that 'new' foreign riders will be assessed on a grading dependant on what level they have ridden in abroad.
  6. But the 'starter' average is just that - a 50 point team building average. It won't apply once new individual and team averages come into effect. Assuming the new team average (for redeclarations) is 42 or thereabouts, then taking Poole as an example their current 1-7 is totalling around 45 points, (more if Newman is included in place of Kerr and once 4H/4A are completed)), so any changes other than a single like-for-like change would mean Poole having to lose at least 3 points before they start!!
  7. Lets not forget the likes of Nicki Pedersen who only has GPs and Polish fixtures and who MF has also tried to sign previously; or even Jarek Hampel?! Or even Magic Janowski??
  8. If you know the track 'is always bad on Good Friday morning', then why on earth would you and your 6 year old go and stand on the first bend!! Plenty of other non-dust viewing areas!!!
  9. If the new team building average is anywhere close to 42 points (ie. 84% of the original 50 points) then it makes every sense to have 'new' riders available on their previous actual averages or a new BSPA-assessed average if they have not ridden UK for 2 years!!
  10. You never know, Kyle Newman might be back - the 28 days will be up by Saturday!!!
  11. You mean people normally pay £18 to watch Wolves? Blimey, no wonder attendances are suffering.
  12. Jack's previous British racing experience has been at the old Premier League level so its no surprise he's more consistent when racing for the Panthers at that level. If you take away his 'inflated' average for the Premiership then he is scoring pretty much what you would expect a new 2nd string to score. Give him a bit of time and he'll be fine. The expectation for any rider racing for Poole is quite high and the less-experienced need more time to sort themselves - a bit like Brady last season, and look at him go now.
  13. With the Polish Golden Helmet GP Qualifier rearranged for Thursday, I guess its not totally unrealistic that they will insist on official practice on Wednesday?! I don't know for sure - just musing...!
  14. Aside from those that just want to stick the knife in, can anyone explain Watty's poor start? Is it mechanical or in his head as I fully expected him to start the season well after a decent winter in Oz and now that his off-track stuff has been sorted!!
  15. That might have carried some relevance if Tai had been scheduled to ride in the same meeting as KK - but he wasn't!!! Poole had a facility granted to cover for KK. That decision was confirmed by the SCB in the morning of the 2 meetings and was still valid for both meetings. As for the Oaktree meeting, MF stated afterwards (Poole website) that in hindsight Poole should have gone for r/r but he usually opts to go with 7 riders whenever available - hence using Garrity who was considered to be the best available guest of those riders able and willing to take the booking at such short notice. No BV or Wolves riders wanted to do it!!! In hindsight again its a shame the KL v RH meeting wasn't rained off earlier as that would have given more (better?) guest options.
  16. Agree with PoP it should be close but same result as at the Oaktree on Friday!!
  17. Theres been no announcement about the Coventry challenge yet, so doubt the U21 meeting will be announced until next week.
  18. Not sure that Brady can take an extra ride - only Jack, Nicolai and Ritchings if necessary!! Should be another close one. I take it the car park is still fully operational or is it reduced capacity??
  19. Brady's last to first ride in heat 14 was worth the admission money alone - particularly significant that it was also in a faster time than the 2 preceding heats and understandably compared to a #DW43 move at its very best!!
  20. Not b/s at all. SCB have approved the facility and Somerset have no objection either. Its the same SCB referee this evening as this morning - Craig Ackroyd - so we'll see.
